Unexpected Treasures by the Fence: Pink Surprise and Golden Bells 🌸💛

My garden path is looking very colorful lately, in fact, it seems to get a little brighter every single day!! 😊 🌻

A pink surprise in my garden 🌸

Last time I posted,, I showed you the cute little sweet potato flowers I found growing near our wooden fence..

Here are a few shots I took..
It's actually my first time seeing the sweet potato flowers.. look so cute with the purple center..

I’ve been watching those green vines crawl along, thinking that was the only star of that corner.. I never knew there was something pretty growing under those leaves.. 😁

But today, I made a new discovery!!
A pretty pink hibiscus.. 🌺

I honestly had no idea we had a hibiscus plant hidden away back there.. Our hibiscus were all in plain sight so we can water them daily..
I only noticed it because a big and beautiful pink flower was peaking through the thick green leaves of the sweet potatoes..

The stem is a bit old, so I am assuming it was there for a while.. some parts of it were cut off and that's the only flower I saw.. no new buds yet..

It felt like my garden was playing hide-and-seek with me agan!! 😆
The soft pink petals look so pretty against the dark green vines..
It just goes to show that if you look closely at your messy corners, you might find a hidden gem.. 😊

After admiring the hibiscus, I took a little walk just outside our fence to the side of the road..
We have some plants there that face the street and the yellow bell also known as Allamanda, is also putting on quite a show!!

These flowers are so reliable.. 💛
They are continuously blooming, looking like bright golden trumpets reaching for the sun..
They really cheer up anyone passing by the house..

I love those wide yellow petals.. look so clean and healthy

Between the secret pink hibiscus and these bold yellow bells, my morning plant check was definitely a success.. 😊

I am so happy to have these splashes of color to look at every morning, or even all day.. 😍
