☀️ Island Hopping Paradise! Exploring the Stunning Taklong Island National Marine Reserve

Hello, Worldmappin Community!!

It’s been a while and I’m so excited to share a truly beautiful trip I took..
The weather was absolutely perfect,, super sunny and hot!!
You know the kind of day that just begs you to head to the water?! 😆
That’s exactly what we did!

📍 Our destination.. Taklong Island National Marine Reserve

Our destination was the gorgeous Taklong Island National Marine Reserve..

It was a bit of a journey to get there,, but let me tell you, the travel was totally worth it..
The moment you see that clear blue water,, you forget any long ride you had!!

Sadly, we couldn't stay overnight this time,, but we spent the whole day exploring the different gems scattered around the reserve..
It’s an island-hopping dream!!

🏝️ A collection of unique islands

What I loved most was how many different, cool spots there were!!
We boated around and saw islands with the most fun names..

First is the Crocodile Island 🐊 (Looks a bit like a croc when you see it from a distance!) 😁

then there's this cute Turtle Island 🐢

There's also this Magic Island.. ✨

There's a resort on top of the island...

There were also some amazing natural rock formations.

The water below was such a deep, stunning blue..

🌊 One of the highlights was finding a tower!!

It was a bit of a climb,, but when we got to the top, the view was unbelievable..
You could see the whole island and the ocean stretching out forever..
It was so beautiful and peaceful,, definitely a moment I won't forget..

🏖️ Beach Time Fun

After all that sightseeing, we spent time on a gorgeous sandy beach..

The sand was soft and the water was clear,, perfect for wading and swimming!!
A few of the kids were having a blast in the shallow water..

The whole area is a marine reserve,, so the wildlife is protected..
We even spotted a beautiful pink starfish right in the shallow water!!
It was such a vibrant color,, resting on the seabed of small stones and coral pieces..
A clear sign of how healthy the marine life is here..

💙 Taklong Island National Marine Reserve is a slice of paradise and a wonderful place to visit if you ever get the chance..
The clear waters, the green rocky islands and the pure sunshine made it a perfect day trip..

I really hope I can go back and stay longer next time!!
