A Quick Beachside Stroll in a Bright Wednesday Morning ☀️

I hope your week is going great.. 🌞

I wanted to share to you all, our early morning walk.
My daughter had a special activity at school, which means she had to head out much earlier than usual.
So, instead of just heading back to bed, my husband and I decided to take this opportunity to enjoy the fresh air and go for a quick stroll.

The sun was already high up and was shining so bright!

Our walk to the wharf

We accompanied our daughter to the wharf to make sure she got off safely.

There really is something so peaceful about the morning light hitting the water.
Once she was on her way, my husband and I weren't quite ready to go home yet. The weather was just too nice for a quick walk

We decided to walk around to the area opposite the wharf. I estimate the distance to be around 2-3 kilometers from the wharf

When we arrived there, we saw that it was low tide.
The receding water left behind a huge stretch of wet sand and little pools of water that reflected the beautiful sky like mirrors.

We can see that there are a lot of thin clouds in the sky..
as opposed to what we saw earlier that day, this time the clouds are covering the sun..
Which I think was perfect for today's walk. It wasn't hot and bright.. the ocean breeze also added a little bit of coolness in the air..

We looked at the vast water of Guimaras straight.. We can no longer see the ferry my daughter was on, which means she might have arrived at the Parola.

We explored around a liitle bit, just enjoying the cool breeze and the shade the clouds are giving..

We saw people getting ready for work.. some already started theirs.. others were jogging, and some were eating their breakfast at the nearest food stall.
It was quite a busy morning for everyone..

It wasn't a long walk or a difficult stroll, but just being outside, moving our legs, and seeing the ocean in the early light was the perfect way to start the day.
We didn't sweat too much because of the wonderful weather but it was still a great exercise..
It's important that from time to time, we get the chance to breathe fresh air and move those stiff muscles 😁

After a while, I received a message from my daugther, saying she was already at school. Well, I guess that's our cue to go back home. The sky is starting to clear out and the sun is slowly peaking.

We decided to head back because I just remembered that we hadn't eaten our breakfast yet and our stomachs were starting to rumble. 😆
