REVERSE SPEED



"Units with lower speeds will attack before units with higher speeds. Attack Accuracy based on speed will also be reversed."

REVERSE SPEED is a ruleset with certain rules that are different from usual. Some rules change in the REVERSE SPEED Ruleset where usually the monster with the highest SPEED attacks first, then in the REVERSE SPEED Ruleset, the monster with the lowest SPEED gets the turn to attack first.

In addition to attack turns, attack accuracy also has an inverse rule in the REVERSE SPEED ruleset because they also depend on SPEED. If usually, monsters with higher SPEED have the opportunity to dodge the attacks of monsters with lower SPEED, then in the REVERSE SPEED Ruleset, it is the lower monsters that have the chance to be able to dodge the attacks of monsters that have higher SPEED than them.

To deal with the REVERSE SPEED Ruleset, you should not use monsters with high SPEED (except Magic monsters, because their attacks are 100% sure to hit the target as long as the target does not have the PHASE ability). In addition, it is forbidden to use monsters or Summoners that have abilities that affect speed (such as SWIFTNESS and SLOW ) because it can give an advantage to the opponent.

As a substitute for not being able to use the SWIFTNESS and SLOW abilities, we can rely on the BLIND ability. BLIND itself is an ability that will reduce the attack accuracy of the opponent's monsters. So even though the monsters you use have SPEED that is superior to the opponent, with the BLIND ability, some of their attacks can fail to hit our monsters.

RULESET & FORMATION

In addition to REVERSE SPEED, the Rulesets in this battle are...

FIVE ALIVE

FIVE ALIVE is a Ruleset that limits the maximum number of units or monsters that can be used in a battle. if usually, the maximum number of monsters that can be carried is 6, then in the FIVE ALIVE Ruleset, the maximum number of units that can be carried is only 5.

But it all depends on the Mana provided in a battle. If there is little mana available, 5 will feel like too much (and vice versa).

TAKING SIDES

TAKING SIDES is a ruleset that prohibits the use of certain monsters. Monsters that cannot be used in the TAKING SIDES ruleset are NEUTRAL monsters. Usually, NEUTRAL monsters can be combined with monsters from any element, but in the TAKING SIDES ruleset, NEUTRAL monsters cannot be used and we can only rely on monsters from one of these elements.

My Line-Up

- Give additionals of 1 Attack power to All Allies Ranged monstersAlthough monsters with low SPEED are rare in Life Element (especially those with low Mana), I still use General Sloan who is a Life Summoner because some monsters have certain abilities that I want to try using in the REVERSE SPEED Ruleset.
FLYING + MAGIC REFLECT + DIVINE SHIELD + PHASEAccording to my knowledge, some monsters that have low SPEED are Magic monsters. Therefore, I need monsters that have the MAGIC REFLECT ability so that they can counterattack if they are hit by Magic monsters. And Pelacor Conjurer has that ability.

In addition, Pelacor Conjurer also has PHASE ability that can reduce the accuracy of attacks from Magic monsters and FLYING ability that can reduce the accuracy of attacks from monsters that do not have similar abilities.
FLYING + OPPORTUNITY + TRUE STRIKEIn addition to Pelacor Conjurer, I also utilized Celestial Harpy. The reason is that Celestial Harpy has the TRUE STRIKE ability. So even though the SPEED he has is relatively high and does not benefit from the REVERSE SPEED Ruleset, with the TRUE STRIKE ability, every attack will not miss even if the opponent has a lower SPEED or they have abilities that can reduce attack accuracy.
SNEAK + LIFE LEECHStitch Leech is an additional option because there is still Mana left after selecting the previous 2 monsters. The reason I use Stitch Leech is so that he can get additional Health points when he successfully attacks the target using the LIFE LEECH ability and to anticipate if the opponent also uses monsters that have the SNEAK ability.
VOIDI decided to use Gargoya Scrapper because the amount of Mana left was only 1 point. Another reason was because I couldn't use Chaos Agent which both had 1 Mana point but with much better abilities due to the TAKING SIDES ruleset.

BATTLE STARTS!!!

The opponent uses Thaddius Brood and only brings 3 monsters (2 Magic monsters and 1 Ranged monster). fortunately, I didn't use Magic monsters in this battle so I only received a reduction of 1 Health point which affected all my monsters.

In the first round, Soul Strangler got his turn to attack first because he was one of the monsters with the lowest SPEED. But unfortunately, his attack failed to hit Pelacor Conjurer. Meanwhile, Revealer managed to attack Pelacor Conjurer even though it only damaged his DIVINE SHIELD.

After that, it was Stitch Leech's turn to attack and defeat Soul Strangler. Then followed by Celestial Harpy who attacked Life Sapper. And finally, the attack from Life Sapper was directed at Pelacor Conjurer. Although it managed to hit him, Life Sapper was still hit by a counterattack due to the MAGIC REFLECT ability possessed by Pelacor Conjurer.

In the second round, Revealer failed to land an attack on Pelacor Conjurer. Meanwhile, Stitch Leech defeated the opponent's monster (Life Sapper) again. But as a result of Life Sapper being defeated, it dealt 1 point of damage to all of my monsters.

The last attack came from Celestial Harpy who attacked Revealer.

In the last round, although Revealer managed to attack Pelacor Conjurer and give him a STUN effect. Revealer was eventually defeated by Stitch Leech.

Review of this battle

Despite being in the REVERSE SPEED Ruleset and the opponent using Magic monsters and some monsters that have lower SPEED than my monsters. But some of their attacks were successfully broken by Pelacor Conjurer who has a higher SPEED. This is inseparable from some of the abilities he has such as FLYING and PHASE .

In addition, there is Celestial Harpy which has the TRUE STRIKE ability. Although it is in the REVERSE SPEED ruleset, it does not make its attacks miss.
