BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! || EQUALIZER Ruleset
EQUALIZER

"The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health"
EQUALIZER is a ruleset that can make the Health points of all monsters in the battle arena equal to the monster that has the highest base Health point. EQUALIZER is a ruleset that is very suitable for monsters that have low Health points but with considerable Attack Power.

Some of the monsters above are examples of monsters that you might be able to bring and use in the EQUALIZER Ruleset. These monsters have Attack power and abilities that are quite useful. However, if they are not in the EQUALIZER Ruleset, they will be defeated in one attack by the opponent's Magic attack Monsters (Magic attack monsters can directly attack the target's health points regardless of the amount of ARMOR owned by the target).
You are also required to bring monsters with high Health points if you want monsters like the examples above to last longer to withstand attacks from the opponent's Magic monster. At least monsters with a Health of 6 points or more are needed so that some of the monsters above can last for at least 1 to 2 rounds.
Even if you don't use monsters like the example above, at least choose monsters with a large Attack power (try to have an Attack power of 3 points, whether Melee, Ranged, or Magic monsters) because it is likely that the opponent will bring monsters with high Health. If the use of Magic monsters is prohibited (due to WEAK MAGIC or LOST MAGIC
Ruleset), use monsters that have the RUST
ability (if the number of ARMOR of the opponent's monsters is not more than 2) or SHATTER
(if the number of ARMOR is more than 2) to remove the opponent's ARMOR so that the attacks from our monsters can directly hit their Health points.
RULESET & FORMATION
In addition to EQUALIZER, the Ruleset in this battle is...
EVEN STEVENS
EVEN STEVENS is a Ruleset that only allows the use of monsters that have even Mana. This restriction only applies to Monster Cards, while Summoners are still allowed to use cards that have odd Mana.
There is no specific way to overcome this ruleset. It all depends on the other rulesets that accompany the EVEN STEVENS ruleset. However, there is one "keyword" for the EVEN STEVENS Ruleset, which is that in the EVEN STEVENS ruleset, there are no "SNEAK and MARTYR
" monsters unless DRAGON SPLINTER is included in the list of available elements.
SUPER SNEAK
SUPER SNEAK is one of the Rulesets that gives additional abilities to all monsters in the battle arena. This ability is in the form of SNEAK . SNEAK
ability can only be given to Melee attack monsters, while Ranged and Magic attack monsters do not get this additional ability.

BATTLE START !!!
Although they both use Thaddius Brood, the opponent focuses more on using Magic monsters. Unfortunately, the attack power of the opponent's Magic monsters must be reduced by 1 point.
In the first round, Wily Coyotian failed to land his attack on Xenith Monk. Meanwhile, the attacks from the opponent's Magic monsters (Venari Bonesmith, Usut, and Skok Duskblight (as well as Riftwing who received ATTACK POWER from Skok Duskblight)) did not deal any damage to Xenith Monk. Venari Bonesmith only gives poison effect to Xenith Monk which can still be resisted with HEAL ability. Meanwhile, Venator Kinjo managed to attack the ARMOR of Cursed Windeku and avoid THORNS
because he has REFLECTION SHIELD
.
Xenith Monk, Ravenhood Warden, and Doctor Blight successfully attacked Wily Coyotian and cast AFFLICTION on him. the attack from Shadow Snitch successfully hit Riftwing while the attack from Cursed Windeku was successfully dodged.
In the second round, the attack from Wily Coyotian successfully hit Xenith Monk. Meanwhile, all of the opponent's magic attack monsters still couldn't deal any damage.
Although Xenith Monk's attack failed to hit Wily Coyotian, the attacks from Wardenhood Raven and Doctor Blight managed to hit him and give him a poison effect. My 2 Melee monsters (Cursed Windeku and Shadow Snitch) successfully attacked Riftwing.
In the third round, Cursed Windeku managed to defeat Riftwing despite the previous attack from Shadow Snitch failing to hit him. Attacks from Xenith Monk and Ravenhood Warden managed to hit Wily Coyotian while Doctor Blight failed to hit him.
In the fourth round, Wily Coyotian lost to poison, Venator Kinjo who replaced him was attacked by Xenith Monk, Ravenhood Warden, and Doctor Blight. Cursed Windeku and Shadow Snitch attacked Skok Duskblight who was now in last place.
In the fifth round, Cursed Windeku and Shadow Snitch defeated Skok Duskblight. Meanwhile, Venator Kinjo lost to attacks from Xenith Monk, Ravenhood Warden, and Doctor Blight.

Review of this battle
My victory this time can be said to be due to luck. The opponent prefers to use Magic attack monsters even though summoner Thaddius Brood is intended to weaken their attacks. In addition, I was lucky because I placed Xenith Monk who has VOID ability in the first position so that the Magic attack monsters did not do any damage to him.
Another opponent's mistake is choosing to use Venari Bonesmith to poison monsters that have the HEAL ability. Even though there are still better options such as Doctor Blight which in addition to having POISON
, it also has AFFLICTION
which stops healing (but it could be that the opponent does not have or did not hire Doctor Blight).
