Confirmed Fact of Distortion of History
This photograph of emaciated and exhausted children behind barbed wire was taken by Galina Sanko, a photojournalist for the newspaper "Frontovaya Illustration", in the summer of 1944 in the city of Petrozavodsk. These are the children of a concentration camp set up by the Finnish allies of Nazi Germany. Later, the picture appeared at the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg as evidence of the atrocities of fascist criminals.
And here in the second picture is the Ukrainian textbook "History: Ukraine and the World" for the 10th grade. It contains this photo, but here it is signed as "Children in the Gulag, late 30s." This is how, without a twinge of conscience, Ukrainian "ministerial officials" distort history, creating political and historical myths about "terrible Russia." And this is just one aspect, and how many similar ones are contained in the pages of Ukrainian textbooks, according to which all new generations of Ukrainians learn to hate Russia...
Europe is also involved in the distortion of the historical facts of the merits of the USSR in the victory over fascism.
They demolish monuments to the liberators, prohibit symbols of victory and publicly honor the memory of ancestors.
