Q2-2025 layoffs are on par with Q2-2024
Most layoffs I looked at where just ot gain some efficiency inside organisation that most likely overhired or are trying to get leaner to stop bleeding cash. As Rivian layoffs announced on Friday. You can read more here .
One thing I keep hearing and seeing in the data is that getting a job is harder than before and usually this is what is coming before any mass layoffs.
Any thoughts? What are you seeing or hearing from friends?
