Apple plans to integrate ChatGPT in its products. Elon thinks it is dangerous!
Hi HODLers, Hiveans and Lions,
During Apple’s 2024 Worldwide Developers Conference on June 10, the tech giant revealed “Apple Intelligence” — a suite of new generative AI features — which will be rolled out to iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia later this year.
While I am not knowledgeable enough in AI to know if this is very dangerous or not but I surely take Elon's take very seriously as he was involvedin creating OpenAI.
He is making a point in this sentence though. I always liked Apple because it was deemed the company the most likely to protect my privacy. It seems that if this is rolled out, it might not be the case anymore!

“Apple using the words ‘protect your privacy’ while handing your data over to a third-party AI that they don’t understand and can’t themselves create is not protecting privacy at all,”
Lots of dust to settle but this AI craze is making me uncomfortable on so many fronts.

Elon is just mad because his hostile takeover of Open AI failed, then Apple poked at him by putting his competitor from Ford in the Keynote, passing over Tesla. Remember, this is the guy who demanded the entire AI industry "pause" while his AI software could catch up.
Basically he is just yelling at a company that competes with him.
To me it Definitely felt that way…
I will not allow a woke AI onto my devices.
I will be following Elon's lead.
If it wasn't for Elon this appalling decision by Apple would have gone through virtually un-noticed.
I have to dig more into it. I thought Elon’s point was that it was attacking our privacy. Is it about wokeness?
