Hello, friends of the #ShadowHunters community, first of all I want to thank @olgavita for this opportunity to share images of reflections and to participate in this contest. Today I want to share with you an image that I found almost by chance while walking through my city.

On this occasion the protagonist is a local market, a place we usually go to without paying much attention. However, its large glass panels gave me a reflection I had not noticed before, the imposing silhouette of a tall 14 story building right where the Peñas Altas bakery is located in the city of Matanzas, Cuba. In the reflection you can also see some people sitting on the bench near the market waiting for their turn to buy. The mixture between the daily life of the market and the firm presence of the building created a scene that made me stop for a few seconds, as if both spaces had merged for an instant into a single plane.

It is incredible how reflections can show us another side of what we see every day, combining the common with the surprising. Sometimes you just need to look a little beyond the obvious.

Reflejos del día a día

Hola, amigos de la comunidad #ShadowHunters, ante todo agradecer a @olgavita por esta oportunidad de compartir imágenes de reflejos y concursar con ellas. Hoy quiero compartirles una imagen que encontré casi por casualidad mientras caminaba por mi ciudad.

En esta ocasión el protagonista es un mercado local, un lugar al que solemos ir sin prestar demasiada atención. Sin embargo, sus amplios cristales me regalaron un reflejo al que no había prestado atención antes, la silueta imponente de un edificio alto de 14 plantas justo donde está la panadería de Peñas Altas en la ciudad de matanzas, Cuba. En el reflejo se puede ver además algunas personas sentadas en el banco cerca del mercado esperando su turno para comprar. La mezcla entre la vida cotidiana del mercado y la presencia firme del edificio creó una escena que me detuvo unos segundos, como si ambos espacios se hubieran unido por un instante en un solo plano.

Es increíble cómo los reflejos pueden mostrarnos otra cara de lo que vemos todos los días, combinando lo común con lo sorprendente. A veces solo hace falta mirar un poco más allá de lo obvio.
