Hola comunidad #worldmappin nuevamente regreso a esta comunidad.
Hoy continuo con la serie que nace de caminar sin prisa y mirar con intención. Hoy la mirada se detiene en un momento distinto: cuando la luz se va y la ciudad entra en su otra forma de existir.

Un apagón no es solo la ausencia de electricidad.
Es un cambio de ritmo.
Un silencio que se ensancha.
Una pausa obligada donde todo se vuelve más lento.

En la oscuridad, Matanzas se escucha más.
Se oyen los pasos, las voces que cruzan de un portal a otro, una radio lejana, una risa que intenta no perderse. La ciudad no se ve del todo, pero se siente completa.

Cuando se va la luz, la gente sale.
Se sienta.
Espera.
Conversan sin pantallas de por medio. La noche deja de ser fondo y se vuelve protagonista.

Esta también es Matanzas:
la que no brilla,
la que resiste,
la que aprende a estar sin ver.

La foto que acompaña este capítulo no pretende mostrarlo todo.
Solo sugiere.
Una calle que entra en sombra,
una ciudad que se apaga…
pero no se rinde.

No siempre mirar es iluminar.
A veces mirar es quedarse.
A lo lejos se ven luces pero solo de aquellos que han buscado soluciones propias.

Esta fue otra mirada.

When the city goes dark

Hello #worldmappin community, once again I return to this community.
Today I continue with the series that is born from walking without hurry and looking with intention. Today the gaze stops at a different moment: when the light goes out and the city enters its other way of existing.

A blackout is not only the absence of electricity.
It is a change of rhythm.
A silence that widens.
A forced pause where everything becomes slower.

In the darkness, Matanzas is heard more.
You hear the footsteps, the voices that cross from one porch to another, a distant radio, a laugh that tries not to get lost. The city is not fully seen, but it is felt whole.

When the light goes out, people come out.
They sit.
They wait.
They talk without screens in between. The night stops being background and becomes the protagonist.

This is also Matanzas:
the one that does not shine,
the one that resists,
the one that learns to be without seeing.

The photo that accompanies this chapter does not try to show everything.
It only suggests.
A street that enters the shadow,
a city that turns off…

but does not give up.
Looking is not always lighting up.
Sometimes looking is staying.
In the distance, lights can be seen, but only from those who have sought their own solutions.
