We Are The Owners of Invennium + Splinterlands

It is easy to get impatient regarding a project. There are many investors who buy Tokens/NTFs with the only intention of selling them back when the prices go up. This could be a good approach for a commodity. The only things people can do with a commodity are,

  • Buy
  • Sell
  • Use
  • Speculate

Decentralization or building the future of gaming, AI, social media, finance etc. is not some commodity. Anyone can opt in to invest in the many great Tokens we have on HIVE. As long as the teams behind these projects are working hard, I don't think the investors are entitled to impatient or demanding. Investing in COLONY for an example is nothing like investing in gold or silver. Owning a precious metal does not give anyone any say over how that particular commodity is going to behave.

Work to Build Your Own Business

We cannot think of ourselves as a group of players/investors waiting to see the prices pump. Considering ourselves as a community is better. The most pragmatic approach is thinking of ourselves as business owners in blockchain gaming. Above is my stake on @arcadecolony platform. I have another stake on Genesis League Sports. We are building the future of online gaming together. If we succeed, we will have a payout similar to what tech startups have in Silicon Valley and other tech hubs.

The builders behind successful startups are not there complaining. Instead, they spend their time grinding to make the project better. They are not even looking for 10X gains. What they look for is a massive payday when the project go mainstream. This is the attitude we need to have.

We Are A Decentralized Startup

We are not betting on a mere commodity together and we are certainly better than some random meme. Games are better than memes. We have to think of ourselves as something that comes after memecoin fads. We are a decentralized startup focused on gaming as a way to introduce normies to DeFi and broader cryptosphere.

As seen in the above screenshot, only the price of GLGT has fallen in a significant degree. VOUCHERs faced a similar dip. The primary Tokens (GLX, COLONY and SPS) have been steady over the recent months. We have seen $SPS manage fine after the Conclave Arcana gains. The next goal is to keep expanding on everything that has worked over the last 7 years.

7 Years is a Very Long Time

We are starting to get good press coverage thanks to the funds invested in marketing. We are going through one of the best times to do marketing. I will outline few reasons why.

  • We are far from the bear market lows
  • The games have seen tremendous amount of development
  • Cryptosphere is going mainstream now
  • FOMO and competition for attention remains low
  • We are maintaining 4% - 5% conversion rates

Most projects in cryptosphere do not recover from a bear market. SPS. GLX, COLONY have all gone through some terrible times and they have proven their resilience. We are owners of a very strong company. If we can show more support for our business, we could see the value of our assets skyrocket faster and better.

The Gaming Trinity of HIVE

I have repeatedly claimed that gaming and microblogging are the best ways to onboard users to cryptosphere. The biggest strength of Invennium is that it makes it easy for anyone to use the tools that made @splinterlands possible and even connect Web 2 games to HIVE blockchain. As amazing as HIVE is, onboarding users and their funds face many roadblocks. One of them is solved now. It should not be hard to go from $SPS to GLX and COLONY.

Fiat inflows to HIVE games got easier and it was all thanks to the funding by SPS DAO. I voted with my staked SPS to make this happen. I am happy to see the results. Marketing can get users hyped about a project. Great technology can allow developers to build amazing DAPPs that are faster than Ethereum and have the fees that almost all the blockchains, DAGs etc. have. These are all early parts of the funnel. If we mess up the final part where the prospect make a purchase, most of the previous efforts go to waste.

Can You Spare 15 Minutes A Day?

That is 7.5 hours in 30 days. We are close to onboarding a large influx of players. The market and technology has been primed for growth. What we have left to do is refine that last part of the funnel and make it as easy as possible for individuals from all walks of life to invest and become a part of the community. Provide feedback, introduce your friends, create social media content (including on HIVE) and make sure that we have a strong brand image in cryptosphere. Do not forget about Pareto distribution.

Today's Feedback

@arcadecolony has the longest running Airdrop I have seen. It is a 5 year long Airdrop that keeps getting a bigger pool each year. We recently made it to the 2nd year. Unless you were already familiar with Invennium, you may not have known that having 5,000 SPS and/or 10,000 GLX makes you eligible for this COLONY Airdrop. Let there be an indicator informing those who have 500 SPS or more that they can grow their stake and get an Airdrop that will last another 3+ years. We can add a link to official website and most players should be able to figure things out from there.

The power of having an ecosystem is that each DAPP can feed others. We need more developers and players to Invennium. Cross promotion is an easy low hanging fruit that piggyback on the already existing trust. Let us use one part of the business to build up others.

Best of Luck Onboarding!
