Die Weihnachtsbeleuchtung hÀngt in Wien schon, wie diese coolen Luster im 1. Bezirk, aber sie leuchten noch nicht. Werden vermutlich erst nÀchste Woche mit der Eröffnung der WeihnachtsmÀrkte aktiviert.

The xmas lights are already up in Vienna, like these cool chandeliers in the Vienna city center (1st district), but they're not lit up yet. They will probably only be activated next week with the opening of the xmas markets.

Preparations for this event are started a long time in advance and all the people are very happy to meet each other and have a good time.
Same with us too.. all the malls are already decorating for christmas.

nachdem es jetzt wochenlang allerschönstes Herbstwetter gab, fĂŒhlt es sich echt ein wenig strange an, wenn jetzt ĂŒberall die WeihnachtsmĂ€rkte etc. aufgebaut/eröffnet werden đ
Freu mich schon darauf, werde in der Adventzeit Wien sicher wiedermal besuchen. Wobei mir das mit der Weihnachtsdeko und den AdventmĂ€rkten meist etwas zu frĂŒh beginnt.

In Portugal I've seen several lights already on. In my opinion, they should only be turned on in December to save energy and money.
