Morgen finden in Österreich die Parlaments-Wahlen statt. Bin schon auf das Ergebnis gespannt. Wie war der Wahlkampf für euch? Was hat euch überrascht? Aufgefallen ist mir, dass fast alle Parteien mehr Polizisten fordern, aber niemand mehr Ärzte. Konkret möchte eine Partei 4000 Polizisten, das Gesundheitssystem "weiterentwickeln" und ein Waffenverbot. Man muss eben Prioritäten setzen.

The parliamentary elections will take place in Austria tomorrow. I'm already curious about the results. How was the election campaign for you? What surprised you? I was struck by the fact that almost all parties want more police officers, but no one wants more doctors. Specifically, one party wants exactly 4,000 new police officers, “further development” of the healthcare system and stricter gun laws. You just have to set priorities, right?

I think it depends on what you like more. I think the government parties tend to be crap though because most of them just say things and don't do much though.
