Trump announced the US Crypto Strategic Reserve to invest in XRP, SOL and ADA. Crypto Reserve with random altcoins? Does this make any sense?

Trump hat gestern überraschend eine US Crypto Reserve angekündigt, die in XRP, SOL und ADA investieren soll. Kurze Zeit darauf fügte er auch BTC und ETH in die Liste hinzu.

Macht das überhaupt Sinn, dass der Staat in zufällige Kryptos investieren soll, die teilweise nicht wirklich dezentral sind, eine Foundation im Hintergrund haben, die vielleicht die meisten Coins "premined" haben, und inflationär sind? Oder ist es nur eine Strategie, die Coins zu pumpen. Pump & Dump auf staatlicher Ebene.

Bin skeptisch, denke nur Bitcoin würde langfristig wirklich Sinn machen, ähnlich wie die Zentralbanken Gold- und Fremdwährungsreserven anlegen, und wäre auch ein positives Signal für die Krypto-Industrie. Einzelne Altcoins zu pumpen hingegen, kommt mir eher nach Preismanipulation vor.

Yesterday, Trump surprisingly announced a US Crypto Reserve to invest in XRP, SOL and ADA. Shortly afterwards, he also added BTC and ETH to the list.

Does it make any sense at all for the state to invest in random cryptos, some of which are not really decentralized, have a foundation in the background that may have “pre-mined” most of the coins, and are inflationary? Or is it just a strategy to pump the said coins? Pump & dump at state level.

I'm skeptical, I think only Bitcoin would really make sense in the long term, similar to how central banks invest in gold and foreign currency reserves, and would also be a positive signal for the crypto industry. Pumping individual altcoins, on the other hand, seems more like price manipulation to me.
