RE: Downvote Drama: Do regular quizzes, giveaways and competitions create value on Hive? Do downvotes destroy the platform? My consequences.

I like the idea of a warning system before giving out downvotes, would make the system a bit more friendly, but after so many years I now think downvotes should be removed and illegal content should be dealt with at the front-end level, DV don't remove content. Instead of DV maybe a community note system like on X where users can vote on the community notes as well. It's really a dilemma.
