Also wenn etwas die KI-Bubble platzen kann, dann sind das Aktionen wie diese, die das Vertrauen der Anleger erschüttern.
Zuerst wird der große laufende Verlust von OpenAI bekannt, dann dass OpenAI staatliche Subventionen und Garantien benötige, um eine Billion Dollar in KI-Rechenzentren zu investieren, während andere Cloud-Anbieter und xAI keine derartigen Hilfen verlangen.
Die Nvidia-Aktie ist daraufhin noch einmal um 5% auf 188 Dollar gefallen, geringere Investitionen in KI-Rechenzentren, bedeuten auch weniger Umsatz für Nvidia.

Ich arbeite momentan an einem Manifest der Mitbestimmung, das sich mit Bewusstsein, Verantwortung und Technologie beschäftigt und damit, wie wir als Menschheit den Wandel gestalten können.
Ich verstehe, warum Unternehmen staatliche Unterstützung annehmen. In einem wettbewerbsgetriebenen Umfeld bleibt oft wenig Raum für Idealismus. Trotzdem sehe ich das kritisch - vor allem, wenn KI-Systeme mit öffentlichen Geldern entwickelt werden, die am Ende der Kontrolle weniger dienen - statt der Freiheit vieler.
Ich unterstütze daher keine staatlichen (zentralisierten) Subventionen.
Wahre KI sollte dezentral, transparent und menschlich wachsen – getragen von vielen, besessen von niemandem.
Genau, das ist das Problem, man könnte schon staatliche KI-Zentren in einer Post-Arbeit-KI-Welt betreiben, aber diese müssten dann wirklich der Allgemeinheit dienen und nicht einem einzigen KI-Anbieter oder Big Tech.
Absolut richtig. Der Schlüssel liegt meiner Meinung nach in echter Transparenz und gemeinsamer Kontrolle. Wenn KI zu einem gesellschaftlichen Gut werden soll, dann dürfen die Strukturen, die sie tragen, nicht auf Profit oder Macht ausgerichtet sein.

It really shows how big and costly the AI industry has become. I can understand why people are worried hopefully, OpenAI finds a balanced way to move forward without relying too much on government support.
It doesn't bode well if they have to rely on government funding. It just means that AI is not ready yet. I think it might be a bit too early before we can prove that AI is good enough to use.
