MSM in Austria allowing hate speech against Donald Trump? (although hate speech is illegal in Europe)

Mainstream-Medien in Österreich aber auch in der EU stellen Donald Trump meiner Meinung tendenziell eher negativ dar und dulden sogar Hass-Kommentare gegen ihn, während negative Kommentare gegenüber anderen Politikern in der Regel gelöscht werden oder sogar wie in Deutschland zu Anzeigen und Hausdurchsuchungen führen können.

Hintergrund: Trump möchte das Bildungsministerium verkleinern oder sogar abschaffen.

Negative Interpretation: Ohne Kontext entsteht in den MSM der Eindruck, Trump würde die Bildung oder das Schulsystem an sich abschaffen wollen. Das wäre in der Tat skurril.

Positive Interpretation: Trump möchte die Schulautonomie ausbauen. Schulen sind in den USA bereits dezentraler und werden großteils von den Bundesstaaten selbst gemanagt und finanziert. Trump möchte den Bundesstaaten noch mehr Spielräume bei der Bildung geben. Deren Autonomie ausbauen.

Dagegen spricht, dass das Bildungsministerium für einheitliche Standards sorgen sollte und auch Subventionen für sozial schwache Schulen leistet.

Zentrales vs. dezentrales Schulsystem. Diese Debatte wäre grundsätzlich legitim und findet auf die ein oder andere Art sogar in Österreich statt.

Warum wird dieser wichtige Kontext in den MSM nicht richtig gebracht?

Was sagt ihr dazu? Werden Hasskommentare gegen Donald Trump vielleicht sogar eher geduldet, um Trump schlechter dastehen zu lassen als er tatsächlich ist?

In my opinion, mainstream media in Austria and also in the EU tend to portray Donald Trump rather negatively and even tolerate hate comments against him, while negative comments against other politicians are usually deleted or can even lead to charges and house searches, as in Germany.

Background: Trump wants to downsize or even abolish the Department of Education.

Negative interpretation: Without context, the impression is created in the MSM that Trump wants to abolish education or the school system itself. That would be crazy indeed.

Positive interpretation: Trump wants to expand school autonomy. Schools in the US are already more decentralized and are largely managed and funded on the state level. Trump wants to give the states even more leeway in education. Expand their autonomy.

However, the federal Department of Education should also ensure uniform standards across states and provides subsidies for socially disadvantaged schools.

Centralized vs. decentralized school system. This debate would be legitimate in principle and even takes place in Austria in one way or another.

Why is this important context not mentioned properly in the MSM?

What do you think? Are hate comments against Donald Trump perhaps even tolerated in order to make Trump look worse than he actually is?

Es gibt sogar Studien, die belegen, dass Trump stark negativ dargestellt wird, in Deutschland am ausgeprägtesten, ich hatte hier schon mehr darüber geschrieben.
Ist ja kein Wunder, Trump is konservativ, glaubt nicht an den Klima-CO2-Hoax, dafür an 2 Geschlechter. Der stark linkslastigen Journaille ist er daher in Dorn im Auge.

Ohne gibt es das nicht. Und Trump wird wohl kaum hier eine Anzeige einreichen.

Genau so können Löschungen nur erfolgen, wenn es gemeldet wird.
Aber wäre irgendwie Paradox finde ich sowas zu melden, wo doch Trumpnund Musk gegen die Löschung sind sogar gegen Fake News (die Sie teils selbst fabrizieten)...

Zudem habe ich aber anderweitig diversen Stellen gelesen, das es ihm darum geht, das die Zuständigkeit an die Bundesstaaten geht.

Und auch recht neutral gehaltene Artikel, und dennoch sehe ich das eher negativ und befürchte es wird für viele zu Nachteilen führen. Aber was interessieren mich die Amis!? Hmm🤔🤔

Das stimmt nicht ganz, viele Nachrichtenseiten betreiben eine proaktive Filterung auch im Sinne des DSA, Inhalte werden ohne Meldung teilweise automatisch gar nicht erst veröffentlicht oder manuell von "Moderatoren" gelöscht.

Stimmt, DSA gilt meines Wissens eher für größere Social Media verpflichtend, aber auch Nachrichten-Portale betreiben eine Art Selbst-Moderation im Sinne des DSA:

Looks like Trump gets a different set of rules when it comes to criticism. Media bias is nothing new, but it’s something seeing how hate speech rules seem to work differently depending on who’s targeted

Public school is pathetic in North America, like myself my kids have Dyslexia and the wait for promised help never materialized so I spent almost half my Retirement savings to put my kids into a special Christian Private school. Both my kids graduated the standard curriculum and won scholarships on top of it. They were miracle workers and the best cash I've ever spent.

The main stream media has always had a bias towards hating him. I don't agree with everything he does, but things like cutting back wasteful spending doesn't seem that bad. I think we need less government and give more power to the local/people.

Trump definitely gets roasted way more than other politicians. But honestly, every leader gets hate, it just depends on who's in power. Decentralization is the best good, but execution is everything
