Dieses Jahr heißt es eher Ho, Ho, Hodl, da es diesmal keine Weihnachts- oder Jahresendrally gegeben hat. Wir befinden uns eher in einem Bärenmarkt, der durch Schwierigkeiten und einem möglichen Delisting von (Micro) Strategy ausgelöst wurde.

Bekannt wurde, dass das Geschäftsmodell von Strategy mit hohen Dividenden und kaum einem Cash-Flow nicht so nachhaltig ist. Erinnert mich ein bisschen an die hohen Zinszahlungen bei Hive auf HBD, 15% auf einen Stablecoin, während eines Bärenmarkts. Das geht auf Dauer nicht gut, vor allem wenn der Preis und die Nachfrage sinkt. Bei Strategy ist es aber auf einem völlig anderen Level.

Damit wurde das Vertrauen in die größte Bitocin-Investmentfirma erschüttert, aber es hat auch eine positive Seite. Damit könnte langfristig das systemische Risiko von Strategy minimiert werden, wenn Institutionen ihre Bitcoin-Investments weiter streuen werden.

This year, it's more like Ho, Ho, Hodl, as there has been no xmas or year-end rally this time around. We are more in a bear market, triggered by difficulties and a possible delisting of (Micro) Strategy.

It has become apparent that Strategy's business model, with high dividends and hardly any cash flow, is not very sustainable. It reminds me a bit of the high interest payments at Hive on HBD, 15% on a stablecoin, during a bear market. That doesn't work well in the long run, especially when the price and demand are falling. With Strategy, however, it's on a completely different level.

This has shaken confidence in the largest Bitcoin investment firm, but there is also a positive side. In the long term, this could minimize Strategy's systemic risk if institutions continue to diversify their Bitcoin investments.
