Es gibt wieder geleakte Dokumente: die ehemalige Regierungspartei CDU in Deutschland möchte anscheinend den privaten Kauf von Kryptowährungen gegen Bargeld verbieten und eine Registrierungspflicht für selbst gehostete Wallets einführen 🙈
Alles soll überwacht werden und zwischen jeder Transaktion muss eine staatlich zertifizierte Kontrollinstanz (zum Beispiel Banken) zwischengeschaltet werden.
Ohne Third-Party (Überwachung) soll keine wirtschaftliche Aktivität mehr möglich sein.
In diese Richtung geht es leider.
In Deutschland kann man es nicht mal mit Geldwäsche erklären, da Deutschland im Moment eines der liberalsten Steuergesetze in Bezug auf Kryptowährungen hat. Steuerfrei nach einem Jahr Haltefrist.
Daher denke ich, dass es mehr um Überwachung und Einschränkung der Freiheiten, Bürgerrechte geht.
Auf der anderen Seite arbeitet die EU-Kommission anscheinend weiterhin an einem Verbot von Krypto-Mining bzw. will eine (zusätzliche?) CO2-Steuer auf Krypto-Mining einheben und den Mitgliedsstaaten erlauben wegen "Sicherheits-Bedenken" Mining zu verbieten.
Weiters soll Bitcoin als umweltschädlich eingestuft und das ESG-Rating verschlechtert werden, um es für institutionelle Anleger unattraktiver zu machen.
Dass Bitcoin zunehmend mit erneuerbarer Energie gemint wird und einen gesellschaftlichen Mehrwert (internationales, unabhängiges, dezentrales, hartes und sicheres digitales Geld, Schutz vor Inflation) schafft, spielt dabei keine Rolle.
Was sagt ihr dazu? Was ist schlimmer, die Pläne von Deutschland oder der EU?

New leaked documents: the former governing CDU party in Germany apparently wants to ban the private purchase of cryptocurrencies for cash and pushes for introducing a registration requirement for self-hosted wallets 🙈
Everything is to be monitored and a state-certified supervisory authority (e.g. banks) must be interposed between each transaction.
Economic activity should no longer be possible without a monitoring third party.
Unfortunately, this is the direction we are heading in. At least in Germany and the EU:
In Germany, it cannot even be explained as money laundering, as Germany currently has one of the most liberal tax laws in relation to cryptocurrencies. Tax-free after a holding period of one year.
So I think it's more about surveillance and restricting freedoms and civil rights.
On the other hand, the EU Commission is apparently still working on a ban on crypto mining or wants to levy an (additional?) CO2 tax on crypto mining and allow member states to ban mining due to "security concerns".
Furthermore, Bitcoin is to be classified as environmentally harmful and its ESG rating downgraded to make it less attractive for institutional investors.
The fact that Bitcoin is increasingly mined with renewable energy and creates added value for society (international, independent, decentralized, hard and secure digital money, protection against inflation) is irrelevant.

Verstehe gar nicht wieso so viele die CDU wählen...
Statt Gestze zu erlassen, die Dautschland/EU mal im Punkte Krypto noch freundlicher macht damit auch im D/EU Kryptoinovationen entstehen.
Wie toll wäre es denn, wenn es Unternehmen ala Binance, Coinbase, etc hier gäbe. Was das für Steuereinnahmen bringen würde!?
Sollen Sie eine CO2 Steuer auf Mining erheben, welches nicht aus Erneuerbarer Energie stammt, aber bitte die Einnahmen, dann direkt an dir Miner ausschütten, die es nutzen.

Wundert mich, dass gerade die CDU mit so einem illiberalen Vorstoß daherkommt. Ich denke man sollte nicht das Mining zusätzlich besteuern, sondern wenn dann bei den Kraftwerken die CO2-Steuer einheben. Das würde mehr Sinn machen und trifft dann alle Branchen, die fossile Energie nutzen.
Naja dann wird das wiederum auch auf uns Endkunden abgewählt, naja im Endeffekt so oder so.
Es müsste so viel anders gemacht werden !LOL

Zahlt nicht der Konsument immer die Steuer? Man sollte das auf Kraftwerkebene einheben, sonnst wird es schnell willkürlich. Branche X zahlt CO2-Steuern, Branche Y nicht etc. Das wäre doch komplett unfair.
Das ist doch schon in so vielen Bereichen, manche Firmen zahlen für ihren Strom einen Bruchteil. Ist es fair, das manche lächerliche 5 Cent zahlen und andere das 6 fache?
In den Gesetzbuches sind soviel willkürliche Sachen drin.
Gerade auch im Steuergesetz, was da so alles drin steht. Da finde ich es immer toll, wenn die CDU sich lobt, daß Sie den Kinderfeeibetrag um paar Hundert angehoben haben, nur das kaum einer weiß, dass das nur gut verdienen was bringt, dem Mittelstand bringt es nix. Den kommen nur die paar Euro mehr Kindergeld zu Gute.

Momentan sind ja noch keine Wahlen, allerdings schaut es schlecht aus für die Ampel für die nächste Wahl. Der Michel ist halt hirngewaschen - die Ampelregierung ist eine Lachnummer, und die AfD wird als Rechtsradical angeprangert, also schwingen viele zur CDU/CSU. Abwarten und Tee trinken, vielleicht fällt bei den Lämmern auch bald der Groschen. Sehr guter Beitrag, ich denke man kann darauf nicht oft genug hinweisen.
It's scary how these actions show that out leaders are both uninformed and straight up malicious. I don't live in Germany but I live in the EU. I'm tired of seeing laws that are supposed to benefit the citizens but they only end up being the reverse. Sometimes it's out of ignorance, because these leaders are old and they don't understand how some things work, other times it's just to fill their own pockets.
This is banned worldwide or in a specific countries.
It seems normal to me that power does not want to give up its privileges. What we have to ask ourselves is what society should do with those who oppress them.

this is bad news to those who are living in Germany and EU.
Die Agenda der Totalüberwachung und die kompletten Kontrolle der Bürger funktioniert eben am besten wenn man das Geld kontrolliert und das wird ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste durchgepeitscht in der EU, um nichts anderes geht es da.

Seit wann ist die CDU die Regierungspartei in Deutschland? Hab ich da was verschlafen? Deutschland hat eine Links-versiffte Ampelregierung, und denen traue ich sowas schon zu. CDU ist angeblich in der Opposition, aber praktisch unnötig, weil die meist mit der Regierung mitstimmen.
