How to watch Netflix in your smartphone web browser. Netflix tries to force you to install an app on your smartphone and tablet, but there is a workaround.

Also eine Web-basierte App.

Was sagt ihr dazu?

English

How to watch Netflix on your smartphone without having to install the Netflix app.

If you open Netflix in your smartphone web browser, you will be redirected to an “unsupported” web page and Netflix wants to force you to install the Netflix app on your smartphone.

On a PC, on the other hand, you can simply use Netflix in your browser, in fact the Windows app has actually been a Progressive Web App (PWA) for some time now. In other words, a web-based app.

To be able to use Netflix in the mobile browser (for example in Brave, Edge or Chrome), you have to switch the page to the “Desktop site”.

To do this, first surf to netflix.com, then log in with your Netflix account.

Then you can change the mode in the browser in the sandwich menu to “Desktop site” (Edge: View desktop site) and then Netflix should work as usual in the web browser.

The disadvantage, however, is that the site is then not optimized for smartphones, although the Netflix website is responsive.

What do you think? Have you ever used Netflix on a smartphone or tablet?

This bypass is gonna make sense.
At first I used to think that using a web instead of the suggested app will make the stream to skip and hook. But no, it works just as normal. I used to bypass apps to watch football matches on web😂

This makes sense and I won’t have to download the application or stress myself at all

I have never used Netflix on my smartphone. It just doesn't feel right as I binge one month of the year.

Nice! Don't give in to Neflix's bullying! I hate when companies force you to use their stuff only.. (cough, Apple :)
