First snow in Vienna. Here is why I don't think we are approaching a long crypto winter.

Die letzten Tage im Kryptomarkt waren brutal, viele befürchten, dass uns jetzt ein langer Krypto-Winter bevorsteht.

Wie immer ist die Zukunft schwer vorherzusagen, aber fundamental würde eigentlich nichts für einen langen Krypto-Winter sprechen.

Die US-Wirtschaft boomt, vor allem getrieben durch den KI-Hype, westliche Staaten und vor allem die USA und EU machen enorme Schulden, nicht nur wegen den Folgen der Corona-Lockdowns, sondern auch um Kriege weiter finanzieren zu können. Die Defizite und Staatsschulden explodieren, während die Börsen mit weiteren Zinssenkungen befeuert werden.

In diesem Marktumfeld ist es schwer zu glauben, dass jetzt nur Bitcoin in einen Bärenmarkt rutscht, während alle anderen Assets durch Zinssenkungen, QE, Kriege und enormes Deficit-Spending weiter steigen.

Deswegen denke ich, solange die KI-Bubble nicht platzt, dass sich Bitcoin und in Folge auch der gesamte Kryptomarkt wieder relativ rasch erholen werden. Wenn nicht dieses Jahr, dann nächstes.

Und auch wenn irgendwann KI crashen sollte, wäre eine inflations-resistente digitale Währung wie Bitcoin Gold wert. Pun intended.

Bitcoin wurde genau für solche Szenarien nach der großen Finanzkrise 2008 geschaffen und hat sich bis jetzt durch jede Krise tapfer geschlagen, auch wenn es vorübergehend große Rücksetzer gegeben hat.

Was sagt ihr dazu? Denkt ihr, dass Bitcoin eher in einen langen Krypto-Winter rutscht, oder seht ihr eher einen Bounce kommen?

The last few days in crypto have been brutal, and many are afraid that we are now facing a long crypto winter.

As always, the future is difficult to predict, but fundamentally there is no reason to expect a long crypto winter.

The US economy is booming, driven primarily by the AI hype, and Western countries, especially the US and the EU, are running up enormous debts, not only because of the consequences of the corona lockdowns, but also to continue financing wars. Deficits and government debt are exploding across the board, while the stock markets are being fueled by further interest rate cuts.

In this market environment, it is hard to believe that only Bitcoin is now sliding into a bear market, while all other assets continue to rise due to interest rate cuts, QE, warmongering, and enormous deficit spending.

That's why I think that as long as the AI bubble doesn't burst, Bitcoin and, as a result, the entire crypto market will recover relatively quickly. If not this year, then next year.

And even if AI crashes at some point, an inflation-resistant digital currency like Bitcoin would be worth its weight in gold. Pun intended.

Bitcoin was created precisely for such scenarios after the great financial crisis of 2008 and has so far weathered every crisis bravely, even if there have been temporary major setbacks.
