EU bans cash payments above 10,000 Euros and introduces KYC/AML for all crypto transactions above 1,000 EUR
Die EU verbietet Bargeldzahlungen über 10,000 Euro und führt eine strenge Überwachung KYC/AML von Krypto-Transaktionen über 1,000 Euro ein.
Einzelne EU-Länder haben bezüglich Bargeld bereits noch restriktivere Regelungen.
Die Freiheit in der EU schmelzen zunehmend dahin.
Finde die 1,000 Euro Grenze bei Kryptowährungen ist viel zu niedrig angesetzt und wird einen enormen bürokratischen Aufwand auslösen und könnten auch die Innovationen im FinTech-Bereich der EU ersticken.
Die neuen Richtlinien sollen nächstes Jahr in Kraft treten und könnten für Krypto-Zahlungen und Börsen in der EU zu einem administrativen Albtraum werden.
Zu bedenken ist auch, dass die EU selbst beim digitalen Euro eine Halteobergrenze einführen will 🙈

The EU bans cash payments above €10,000 and introduces stricter KYC/AML rules for crypto transactions over €1,000.
Individual EU member states already have even more restrictive regulations regarding cash payments.
Freedom in the EU is increasingly melting away.
I think the 1,000 euro limit for cryptocurrencies is set far too low and will create an enormous bureaucratic burden and could also stifle innovation in the EU's FinTech sector.
The new directives are due to come into force next year and could become an administrative nightmare for crypto payments and crypto exchanges in the EU.
It should also be borne in mind that the EU itself wants to introduce a holding cap for the digital euro (CBDC) 🙈

Und wahrscheinlich nicht inflationsangepasst. Denke in der EU wird alles zu bürokratisch und restriktiv. Könnte sich negativ auf die Innovationskraft auswirken.
Die Gefahr besteht leider. Und das kommt ab 1.1.25?

Dumm, dass Innovationen blockiert werden statt dafür zu sorgen, daß man Vorreiter wird und das Unternehmen Dienstleistungen darauf aufbauen. Nicht lange und El Salvador überholt so einige Länder 🤔

That amount is very small for cryptocurrency transactions
this will be a nightmare when bull run comes. the gains will be sa huge that 1000 euro would be too small. lol

wow even the cash payment above 10,000 euro is ban? but how would they know if people are having a transaction of more than 10,000? it is difficult to trace cash transaction.

The European Union continues to take steps towards collapse and they are becoming stronger.
Wenn es ein großer Aufwand gewesen wäre dann worden die Börsen dagegen Sturm laufen. Die Aufzeichnungen laufen eh voll automatisch. Ich sehe da kein Hindernisse für Bürger und Unternehmen.
Wir müssen uns eben alle darauf einstellen Gläsern zu werden. Das jeder alles weiß wird aber auch keine Kriminalität verhindern aber einige abschrecken.
Die EU so wie sie heute aufgesetzt ist, macht absolut keinen Sinn. Was die Clowns in Brüssel angeht... dazu sage ich lieber nichts.
10000€ für Barzahlungen sind in 5 Jahren nur noch 1000€ wert, da das bestimmt nicht an die Inflation angepasst wird.

STOPI think it's too low but hopefully someone will make some other type of alternative for this. It's more about them wanting control.
It's certain that cryptocurrency will continue to succeed in European countries despite the EUs tight regulations. Cryptocurrency has come to stay.
This is very good news for the crypto market as people are believing in the industry and in the near future we will see other countries do the same.
