Discovered a new Hive brand: Hive home for smart home appliances (not connected to the hive blockchain)
Hab zufällig eine neue Hive-Brand entdeckt: Hive Home (von Centrica Hive Limited) ist eine englische Firma, die smarte Heizungen (Thermostate), smarte LEDs und Solar Panels anbietet.
Hive ist im englischen Sprachraum tatsächlich ein relativ beliebter Name, auch ein Grund warum wir uns als Blockchain schwer tun, in Google oder Bing vorne zu ranken.
Andererseits müsste es uns als Social Media wiederum leichter fallen auf die erste Seite zu kommen, wenn wir als Social-Network vielen nützlichen Content, Traffic und Backlinks generieren würden.
Auf Google ranken wir bereits auf 4. Stelle sogar vor der Miningfirma HIVE Digital Technologies.
Was sagt ihr dazu? Habt ihr Hive Home bereits gekannt? Wie könnten wir unser SEO-Ranking verbessern?

I stumbled across a new Hive brand: Hive Home (from Centrica Hive Limited) is an English company that offers smart heating systems (thermostats), smart LEDs, and solar panels.
Hive is actually a relatively popular name in English-speaking countries, which is one reason why we as a blockchain find it difficult to rank highly on Google or Bing.
On the other hand, as a social media platform, it should be easier for us to get on the first page if we generate a lot of useful content, traffic, and backlinks as a social network.
We already rank fourth on Google, even ahead of the mining company HIVE Digital Technologies.
What do you think? Were you already familiar with Hive Home? How could we improve our SEO ranking?
Vielleicht kannst du ordentlich das Ranking verbessern wenn du deine Artikel auch auf Reddit verlinkst. Meine Beiträge generieren dort inzwischen bis zu 100k Klicks. Natürlich immer mit Quellenangabe zu einen Hive frontend.
Vielleicht würde es noch mehr Aufmerksamkeit bringen wenn auf reddit eine Hive Community eröffnet wird?
Guter Punkt, einige Posts haben schon Tausende Views dank reddit bekommen, aber ist eine Glücksache, oft werden die Beiträge von mods auf reddit zensiert.
Ja das stimmt, ich wurde auch schon aus 5 Reddit Communitys gesperrt weil ich dort immer wieder meinen Account von hive verlinkt habe.
That is very interesting, and I havennever heard of the Hive brand before outside of the blockchain and the minign company back when we jsut started splitting fromt he legacy chain. Maybe it is because my country is not an English speaking country, so it is not that popular.
Das der Name problematisch ist hatte ich auch schon paar mal gepostet und das mehr Seo betrieben werden müsste.
Aber wie lange ist Seo überhaupt noch möglich, bald gibt es das denke ich nicht mehr. Und dann musst du der KI immer erklären, welches Hive du meinst :(

I find it really funny how many companies use the name Hive. Honestly, I'm not sure how important SEO will be in the future thanks to all the AI chatbots. I see more and more people around me asking questions directly to ChatGPT. It will then be difficult to rank better. Since Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok are more likely to be mentioned in the social media sector. In the blogging area, it will probably be Blogger or Medium. I think we need to find a niche that Hive can cover really well. Maybe there is already a niche that I don't know about. Unfortunately, I don't know how many blockchains really enable gas-free transactions, which can be seen as a major selling point. I'm curious to see what other ideas the community has.

Yeah, there is even another hive social platform, really confusing.
Ranking fourth on Google ain't bad at all, and I sometimes try asking chatgpt about Hive to see how good it is, I usually have to add blockchain or social media for it to understand me but since I've already prompted, it already knows the Hive I'm talking about. We really need the LLMs to also know since that's where search is kind of headed
I think the SEO ranking can increase if Hive continues to become known to more people that is interested in cryptocurrencies

Only heard of the Hive blockchain technology one, been more noticeable of the Hive name ever since I joined here but Hive is indeed a relatively popular name I've heard used in sentences across the web.
Probably all traffic from reddit does help a bit

I think I've stumbled across some of their products before. It's kinda funny how many different companies choose Hive as (part of) their name.
I guess it kinda makes sense, though, for stuff like social media, communities/clubs or also stuff that has to do with houses or apartments.
I never knew about this, but I think its hard to improve that SEO rank. It's nice to see it ranked above the mining company though.
