Copilot Voice Mode got updated, less connection losses, can search the web now. Here is what it doesn't want to speak about.

Der Copilot-Voice-Mode funktioniert seit dem letzen Update wieder besser, davor war er für mich wegen den ständigen Verbindungsabbrüchen wochenlang unbenutzbar.

Die KI hat immer nach ein, zwei Sätzen die Sprachausgabe abgebrochen und konnte dann nicht mehr richtig weitermachen.

Habe den Voice-Mode nach einem "AI Browser"-Update wieder getestet und plötzlich funktionert er viel besser. Man kann jetzt auch längere Antworten bekommen und auch Folgefragen sind kein Problem mehr. Einen Verbindungsabbruch gab es dann trotzdem wieder, aber nicht mehr so häufig wie vorher. Zumindest im Moment.

Das beste Feature ist, dass der Voice-Mode jetzt auch nach aktuellen Infos im Web suchen kann, wird das Web verwendet, wird das kurz vorher angekündigt und nach einer Sekunde liefert die KI bereits die Ergebnisse, ohne merkliche Verzögerung. Das finde ich echt beeindruckend.

Es gibt nicht mehr diesen krassen Knowledge-Cutoff wie das früher bei ChatGPT der Fall war.

Die Konversation fühlt sich viel aktueller an, man kann sogar nach tagesaktuellen Ereignissen fragen, allerdings wird die KI extrem zensiert bzw. ist gebiased.

Was zum Beispiel überhaupt nicht geht, ist über politische Wahlen zu sprechen, zum Beispiel wird die Frage nach dem letzten Nationalrats-Wahlergebnis in Österreich einfach blockiert, weil es ein sensibles Thema mit "nuanced Information" sei. Einfach nach dem letzten Wahlergebnis zu fragen, wird bereits als illegale Wahleinmischung gewertet und blockiert.

Was sagt ihr dazu? Habt ihr den Copilot / GPT Voice Mode schon getestet? Gab es etwas, das die KI nicht beantworten wollte?

The copilot voice mode has been working better again since the last update, before that it was unusable for me for weeks due to constant disconnection issues.

The AI always interrupted the voice output after one or two sentences and then couldn't continue properly.

I tested the voice mode again after an “AI Browser” update and suddenly it works much better. You can now get longer answers and follow-up questions are no longer a problem. There was still a disconnection, but not as often as before. At least for the moment.

The best feature is that the voice mode can now also search for current information on the web. If the web is used, this is announced shortly beforehand and after a second the AI already delivers the results, without any noticeable delay. I find that really impressive.

There is no longer this blatant knowledge cutoff like there used to be with ChatGPT.

The conversation feels much more up-to-date, you can even ask about current events, but the AI is extremely censored or biased.

For example, you can't talk about political elections at all, e.g. the question about the last election result in Austria is simply blocked because it is a sensitive topic with “nuanced information”. Simply asking about the last election result is already considered illegal election interference and is blocked.
