Eine Lightning-Adresse sieht zum Beispiel wie folgt aus und erinnert stark an eine E-Mail-Adresse, ist aber keine.

Endlich kann man Bitcoin-Adressen einfach eingeben und sich sogar merken.
Das Protokoll ist relativ simpel und genial. Es macht sich die bestehende Internet-Infrastruktur (DNS, Webserver und https) zunutze, um die Adressen sicher aufzulösen.
Eigentlich könnte man den Ansatz auch für normale Bitcoin-Transaktionen oder andere Kryptos verwenden, allerdings ist es bei größeren Beträgen ein zusätzliches Risiko.
Lightning Adressen werden mittlerweile von praktisch allen Lightning-Wallets mit Ausnahme der Muun Wallet unterstützt. Auch die Hive Lightning App @v4vapp unterstützt das neue Format.
Was sagt ihr dazu? Wie gefallen euch die neuen Bitcoin LN Adressen? Habt ihr es schon ausprobiert?

Bitcoin Lightning now supports user-friendly email-like addresses 🤩
For example, a Lightning address looks like the following and is strongly reminiscent of an email address, but is not one.

Finally, Bitcoin addresses can be easily entered and even remembered.
The protocol is relatively simple and ingenious. It takes advantage of the existing Internet infrastructure (DNS, web servers, and https) to resolve addresses securely.
Actually, the approach could be used for normal bitcoin transactions or other cryptos as well, though it adds an additional risk for larger amounts.
Lightning addresses are now supported by virtually all Lightning wallets with the exception of Muun Wallet. The Hive Lightning app @v4vapp also supports the new format.

This is a nice utility, it simplifies the addresses.
Lobenswert, dass du das LN förderst. Ich habe für mich als HODLer noch keine Notwendigkeit gesehen, mich damit zu befassen. Sollte der EURO zusammenbrechen, kaufe ich mir Lebensmittel mit Silber und mit Bitcoin ein Haus. Einstweilen habe ich viel Geduld.
Einfach die App Wallet Of Satoshi installieren auf dem Phone und schon bist du dabei 👍 😎
Danke. Ich muss mir jetzt erst einmal ein neues iPhone besorgen. Mein derzeitiges iPhone 6 hat mit IOS 12 das Ende der OS-Versionen erreicht. Ab Juni schaut es dann besser aus mit Lightning.

I signed up for this because I saw that you're using it too. However, after reading up about it, I realised this seems to be one of the most vulnerable to rugpulls since you don't actually control the wallet.
I do admit that this wallet seems to be the most convenient out of the rest though.
What are your thoughts about this? And do you have other recommendations?
Sats sent :) Wallet of Satoshi is a convenient but custodial wallet like most Lightning Wallets, so you have to keep this in mind when storing large amounts on it, but I think for small amounts it's ok. Also take a look into Muun wallet, which is a hybrid solution.
This is very good news for people who use such things.
