Are central banks already buying Bitcoin? sort of

Kaufen Zentralbanken bereits Bitcoin?

Was sagt ihr dazu?

Are central banks already buying Bitcoin? sort of.

The fact that states are already in possession of many hundreds of thousands of Bitcoin is nothing new. These Bitcoin have mainly fallen into the hands of states through confiscation.

Some countries, such as Germany, have already sold their Bitcoin (around 50,000 BTC), prematurely for many, while other countries, such as the US, are holding on to their Bitcoin. In the US election campaign, Trump and Kennedy are even talking about the possibility of a strategic, national Bitcoin reserve.

Germany would then have to buy Bitcoin back at a high price should central banks actually start holding Bitcoin.

A new announcement from MicroStrategy has now revealed that at least the Swiss and Norwegian central banks hold shares in MicroStrategy and therefore indirectly also Bitcoin. This is because Michael Saylor's MicroStrategy has become the world's largest corporate Bitcoin holder in recent years.

What do you think? Do you think that central banks will directly buy Bitcoin in the future?

I think that central banks will not buy bitcoins. This is very unlikely.

Since Bitcoin is really taking over I strongly believe that in no distance time the central banks will definitely buy Bitcoin.

But there's no doubt about it, all eyes are on Bitcoin. Banks have been against crypto for as long as I can remember but now, the case is different, they all want to be a part of it.

Interessant ist dazu auch das hier
https://de.cointelegraph.com/news/south-korea-pension-fund-nps-buys-microstrategy-shares

Pensionsfonds, Versicherungen, weitere Firmen, Stiftungen...

I'm concerned what the big Funds and ETFs steering the Crypto markets just on their own capital. It wouldn't take long for a few corporate insiders to collude on a few directed trading signals if it hasn't happened already.

I think it depends but I think they might do indirect exposure even if they don't buy it directly.

Banks are heavily into crypto but they would badmouth crypto to stop people from investing in it.
