Amerikaner müssen jetzt auch einen 25% Zoll auf Guinness Beer zahlen 😂

Im Zuge der Zollkriegs wurde auch ein hoher Zoll auf Biere eingeführt. Amerikaner sollen nur noch amerikanisches Beer trinken, um die Wirtschaft und Staatsverschuldung zu retten.

In der EU zahlen wir 0% Zoll auf Guinness Beer, da Irland EU-Mitglied ist.

Denkt ihr, dass ein 25% Zoll auf Biere gerechtfertigt ist?

Ich finde Guinness ist leider ziemlich ungenießbar. Über Ami-Bier habe ich bisher nur schlechtes gehört, es wird also eine harte Zeit für die armen Leute dort.

Sie wollten Trump, also müssen sie die Folgen ausbaden und Pisswater trinken. Oder mehr bezahlen - und Guiness ist ja eh nicht billig. Allerdings wird wohl auch deutsches, belgisches und anderes Bier teuerer werden. Wie auch Wein und Champagner. Und Haribo Gummibären. Das haben sie nun davon... :)

Und in punkto gerechtfertigt - Zölle sind grundsätzlich nicht gerechtfertig, egal in welcher Höhe und auf was. Zölle und Steuern sind einfach nur eine willkürliche Methode Geld für den Staat zu generieren. Die Tatsache das es sie schon seit der Antike gibt ändert daran nichts.

I think it will affect quite a few people. I think the US does have a considerable irish community.
I wonder how expensive Guinness is gonna get, since I think they also had some kind of shortage because of the rising demand or something like that. Not sure if they managed to get through that entirely, yet.

I don't drink this beer much so it doesn't affect me. I guess the people who can afford it will buy it, but if they can't, they will just move to a different alternative.

I think, as has been earlier on stated, the issue is deficit budget.

I remember ordering a glass of draft Guinness on the beach in Dubai. It was 60 dirhams or $16.50, it was delicious, but I didn't order a second glass, it was too expensive. I think beer consumption will drop in the US.
