What if? (Poetry)
What would happen if there was no sorrow in this world?
To be honest,
there would not have been time to laugh then
If there was no bed of thorns,
where would the flowers sleep?
Had it not been for this black night,
where would the tears have been threaded?
Why are you so proud after seeing the sun in the morning?
There would have been no garden when it bloomed so much
Why does water become nectar without thirst?
If there was no scorching sun,
why would it rain?
The amber which is not obtained from the earth due to rain,
There would not be so much life on a green earth
What is called meeting without the pain of separation?
How can one sleep after getting tired after sleepless nights?
Whose eyes would then fill with golden dreams?
Then the human mind would not have been ever new
You see,
if there is no defeat then victory does not give happiness
How could an eye that never cries bear tears of happiness?
If the flame itself did not burn,
then how could it extinguish you?
There would be no night,
nor would the day be so bright
