Monday dilemma - Opportunity or Obstacle?

How are you doing? I hope you are doing well. Yesterday was a regular working day for me. It was the Monday, yep. Monday the day we usually hate or atleast like the least. This is pretty obvious after a Weekend break and rest we found it hard to go back to reality self and work over the week.

Monday is also a fresh and insightful day for us. It is because of the energy and rejuvenation we get on weekends. I had a busy weekend as I had to finish some household chores and had to visit the Market. The weather is changing now and the spring is here so from this Monday i had given up wearing winter wears. I got up early this morning and went for a walk. The morning atmosphere is quite refreshing and soothing now days. On the way back, i purchased Bananas and Milk. Then I came back home and prepared myself a smoothie 🥤. Then i got ready for the office and i usually leave for work around 8:30 AM as I had to travel around 1 hrs to my office. I take Delhi Metro to travel. It's very easy and convenient mode of transport in Delhi. Also one of a kind lifesaver for office goers like me. Because the trafic is usually very high during office hours in Delhi. I wonder what would happened if it was not the service of the metro available to us.

Monday's in the office are usually in exciting atleast for me, since i catch up with colleagues at work. We chill and gossip about the weekends. Then there is the usual work stuff. It's a kind of normal thing to have more official work on Mondays since we are following up with holiday gap too. However there are kind of mixed vibes on Mondays. Few people feel lazy and miss the leisure of enjoyment at the weekends or having quality time with family and loved ones. While the workholics and those who are passionate about working will welcome Mondays with enthusiasm and see it another and new week of opportunities.

Mondays usually starts with clearing backlogs of previous week and planning out important work to pay attention for that work. I usually have lunch around 1 PM followed by walking. In winters I used to walk around and hour. As heat and Sunshine is rising now a days, i prefer to walk indoors. The lunch time is also a quality get-together event at the workplace. I tend to meet and greet people from other offices also. Many of my colleagues also prefer having a quick nap 😴 after the launch. After the lunch comes the silly time horizon where people get on relax mode and prepare for call it a day and of not anything urgent work pending, it's all gossip and tea talks.

Around 6 PM i left the office and travel way back via Metro 🚇 to reach home back by 7 PM. On way home i bought some fruits and vegetables. After getting freshen up, I lie down a bit and do some random stuff. I prepare dinner around 8 PM or early sometimes as i usually try to eat before 8:30 PM. After having dinner, i talk to my family and friends over phone for a while and then go out for a little stroll. Monday's are quite usual just like ordinary day for me but as I said earlier this is also an opportunity to have productive week ahead. So we should welcome each Monday with a nice smile and with positive attitude.
