Goodbye

As trees bid farewell to their leaves
Like the way for the traveler and
like birds to their babies
I neither knew how to be a tree nor a path
and not be a bird
Silently putting someone to sleep is another way to get rid of them
But this is an injustice
And a sad complaint on the silent lips, “Friend, they would say to me”

Not returning as promised could be another way
But this is the height of cruelty and
gives birth to an everlasting distrust
However, the core of both methods would probably be to reduce the sorrow of departure
I kept postponing this goodbye, waiting for a perfect solution
And meanwhile one morning I found it placed on the threshold,
a goodbye greeting card

The truth is that no book can teach you how to say goodbye.
No amount of explanation makes goodbyes any easier
Every farewell leaves a stone on the chest
With every goodbye, my nerves would tingle, my eyes would become a restless black cloud
With every departure something cracks
Something dies with every goodbye
How long should I postpone this goodbye?
Now time is giving warning alarm again and again
yes, i really can't
that we will have to die once again
Like breathing, dying is a habit
But still before the last farewell of my life
I am waiting for a tree, a path or a bird...
