The house and courtyard of my dreams,
I pray for you,
I put a dream to sleep under my pillow every day
I decorated the wall of desire with small joys,
I painted it with the blood of desires and then made a garland
Let the flowers of love bloom in some love-filled bouquet,
Let them define my feelings in words.
Now to touch that moon, I also make a ladder,

I hum the sweet chants in the evening songs,
I light the lamp of hope with my mind,
I communicate calmness, brightness and purity with my body and mind
Now I ward off the evil eye with the burning mustard seeds

I untangled the tangled threads but never broke the relationships myself
I made a shawl with a lot of renunciation on it,
I pacified my angry ones, I removed the thorns one by one
Now I play so many roles in this abode,
I put a dream to sleep every day under my pillow
Whenever this inner self relaxed with every drop of hair,
I decorated it with the mischiefs of the autumn-like lazy morning and evening.
I made the flowers of possibilities bloom on the dew on the leaves,
I made dreams crazy over the sky

That line about lighting mustard seeds to keep the evil eye away really stayed with me. Little rituals like that can make a place feel safe while the bigger dreams grow bit by bit inside. If mustard seeds worked on Monday blues too, I’d buy a sack. Do you actually do that at home, or is it a symbol for protection and hope here?
It's a part of indian tradition and culture. To ward off the evil and also for protection, various ingrediants such as mustard seeds, salt, red chillies, lemon and green chillies etc are used. I bet it would work everyday lol 😂, but what's the harm in trying. !LUV !PIZZA 🙏
