I don't want to go anywhere
I sit, startled by the whistles in the night,
Watching the shudder of silence
At the opening and closing window of a book
War surrounds me from all sides
Peace seems to be the teachings of ghosts
Books cannot liberate me from violent times
But this is the only way
In the drenched darkness
Not a pool, but light pours
Bathed in light, unconscious
I run towards the railing
Oh, what silence
In people's eyes
No eye knows the truth
Everything is entangled
I pass through the lines alone
Lines leave less than half the impact on people
Or even none at all when
The fish's eyes are more open than ours
There is no target
Everyone knows
Yet books remain full
Like water released into the fields
Slowly thawing soil
Taking away the hardness within my body
From the cover of darkness
I read books I give up my hardness
I become dust
