I wonder whether the surname Osman has any connection with Turkish, Turkiye or Ottoman era 🤔
I've heard that he does have Turkish origins, but it may be back a few generations. He did a TV genealogy show, but didn't look into his dad's family as the guy left when he was quite young.
I also remember there was a footballer at Everton, Leon Osman.
Richard's brother is in the band Suede.
