Diligence and Personal Cleanliness. One of my Mom's influences on me.

It's my happiness that I participate in this week's #realtalk prompt. I have been following this community for months and I must commend the moderator. This is my entry for this week’s topic.
My mom does not in any way joke about her personal hygiene and cleanliness. She's very hygienic, such that making use of her thing becomes very difficult for people because, in the end, there'll be problems, especially if you're unable to keep that thing clean as she gave it to you.
We lived in a small house with a few apartments. The house has always been neat. There's no way that you'll see dirt in her house. Consequently, she does most of her things by herself because she feels that someone else can't do it better.
The day she asked someone to cook, she ensured that everything was neatly prepared. She does most of our cooking by herself. You hardly come to our house and suggest what we cooked because no particles of what we cooked would be found on the floor.
How about washing clothes and placing them properly? You do not dare scatter your clothes in our house. I know how many punishments I've received from my mom as a result of improper placement of clothes.
While growing up, I found this so uncomfortable, and I would hate it when she insisted on doing the right thing always. At times she will have to force me to do certain things. I didn't know that this would form my lifestyle or say my value system.
Many people today know me as Miss Hygiene. I have lost many friends because of their unhealthy lifestyles. Whenever they come around my house, I usually insist that they must put whatever they take back to their original places.
This lifestyle has helped me in many ways. One of such is that I barely eat outside, either in a friend's house or at any restaurant. I usually question the hygiene situation of the food. This has made me live healthily.
Another aspect of my mom's lifestyle is writing her name on almost everything she gets. Things like plates, jerrycans, chairs and many others. There's no way you'll see her belongings that you will know. I have become a victim of this. All my belongings have my name crested on them.
I must say that my mom has a big and positive influence on who I am today.

It's good to have your mother influence you positively. I also love putting things in their original place, it make it easy to get them whenever they are needed instead of always looking for one thing or the other.
