My Thoughts on the Real Madrid vs Salzburg Match

To be honest, going into this game, I didn’t expect it to be as intense as it was. Real Madrid may have the bigger name, but Salzburg came into this one with serious energy. And I think that’s what made the match so enjoyable to watch.

Let me start with Madrid. You can already tell the players are slowly getting into rhythm ahead of the new season. The standout for me was Jude Bellingham. I don’t even know what more can be said about this guy. His composure on the ball, the way he controls the midfield at such a young age, it’s insane. He literally looked like a senior player commanding the park. His link-up play with Vini Jr. is beginning to look like something that could hurt a lot of teams this season.

Courtois was fantastic. I mean the confidence Courtois gives that defense is just different. Courtois building from back also brought about some decent chances

Overall, it was a good match. Real Madrid showed massive strength, as expected, but Salzburg deserve credit also. They didn’t just roll over, and they forced Madrid to dig deeper. That’s what matches like this are for.

If I had to rate the match, I’d give it a solid 8/10. Real was flawless, it was exciting, high-paced, and had enough drama to keep you rewarding. If this is what Madrid looks like now, they’ll be dangerous once the 2026 season starts,but there's still work to do.
