My Thoughts on PSG vs Bayern Munich Club world cup Quarter Finals game

Man! PSG vs Bayern game was wild. One of those matches that keeps you on edge from start to finish, and by the end, you’re just sitting there like, “Did that really just happen?” It had everything. Goals, drama, tension, red cards, injuries, and a late minute winner that felt like something out of a movie.

From the first whistle, you could tell this was going to be a battle. PSG, riding high as Champions League winners, brought their A game with a lineup stacked with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Bradley Barcola, and Ousmane Dembélé were buzzing up top. Bayern, the Bundesliga champs, countered with their own firepower, led by Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and the electric Jamal Musiala (more on him later). The first half was a chess match, with both sides trading blows but neither breaking through. Manuel Neuer was a wall for Bayern, pulling off a ridiculous save to deny Barcola’s curling shot, while Gianluigi Donnarumma matched him with a fingertip stop on Olise’s long-range screamer. It was 0-0 at the break.

About the moment that changed the whole mood of the game: the collision between Jamal Musiala and Gianluigi Donnarumma just before halftime. I’ve watched the replay a dozen times. Musiala, who’s been unreal this season with 21 goals in 43 games, was chasing a ball near the corner flag when Donnarumma came out to claim it. It was a 50-50 challenge, both players fully committed, but Musiala’s left leg got caught under Donnarumma as the keeper slid in. The way his ankle twisted was brutal. Bayern later confirmed a fractured fibula, meaning he’s out for at least four months, maybe the whole season. As a fan, it’s gutting to see a player of his caliber go down like that, especially at 22 when he’s hitting his prime.

The second half is where this game went from great to unforgettable. Bayern came out strong, controlling the ball and creating chances. Kane had a header ruled out for offside, and Dayot Upamecano thought he’d scored, only for VAR to say no.
PSG Broke the Tie in the 78th minute and more pressure mounted on Bayern.
Willian Pacho got a straight red in the 83rd minute for a high tackle on Leon Goretzka, fair call, it was reckless. Then, in stoppage time, Lucas Hernández lost his cool and threw an elbow at Raphaël Guerreiro, earning himself a redcard. Down to nine men.
One would have thought it was over for PSG as Bayern started pressuring but PSG didn't back down and Surprised Bayern with a 2 goals lead.

Man, This game had all the drama you could find in a football match.
If I had to rate this match, I’d give it a 9/10 for pure entertainment. The only reason it’s not a 10 is because of the Musiala injury.
As for Bayern, they’ll need to regroup without their star man, but they’ve got the depth to bounce back. Here’s wishing Musiala a speedy recovery.
