Visiting my town (ESP/ENG)

Today, just like the previous weeks, we prepare to remember old times. In my case, many of those memories belong to visits I have made to my town, Montalbán, since it is my birthplace, where I lived for many years, where my family is. and a large part of my friends, so every time I can and have the opportunity I go there with the family
Hoy, tal como las semanas anteriores nos preparamos para recordar viejos tiempos, en mi caso, muchos de esos recuerdos pertenecen a visitas que he hecho a mi pueblo, Montalbán ya que es mi lugar de nacimiento, donde viví muchos años, donde está mi familia y gran parte de mis amigos, así que cada vez que puedo y tengo oportunidad me voy allá con la familia.
One of the most beautiful places that my town has are the plantations, one of them is near my wife's family's meadow. In that place there are banana and coffee fields, but at that time there was a drought, so it was a challenge to keep the plants alive.
Uno de los lugares más hermosos que tiene mi pueblo son las plantaciones, una de ellas está cerca de la vega de la familia de mi esposa. En ese lugar hay sembradíos de plátano y café, pero en esa época había sequía, de modo que era todo un reto mantener vivas las plantas.
This is the meadow where my wife's cousin has his garden, as you can see, at that time the stream was completely dry, so it was difficult to water the plants (they did it using tanker trucks) but thank God that due to the constant rains today the stream runs normally again (drought attacks seasonally)
Esta es la vega donde el primo de mi esposa tiene su huerto, tal como pueden ver, para ese tiempo el arroyo estaba completamente seco, así que era difícil regar las plantas (lo hacían mediante camiones cisternas) pero gracias a Dios que debido a las lluvias constantes hoy en día el arroyo vuelve a correr con normalidad (la sequía ataca por temporadas)
Generally the meadow is quite cool, so it provokes us to visit it, however, despite the drought, some plants remained green and even had flowers.
Por lo general la vega es bastante fresca, así que nos provoca visitarla, sin embargo, a pesar de la sequía, algunas plantas permanecían verdes e incluso con flores.
That day we went to Plaza Bolívar to walk for a while before visiting some friends
Ese día fuimos a la plaza Bolívar a pasear un rato antes de visitar a unos amigos
And there my wife and I are at the exact point in the square where I asked her to be my girlfriend many years ago, so my youngest daughter wanted to immortalize the moment.
Y allá estamos mi esposa y yo en el punto exacto de la plaza donde le pedí hace muchos años que fuese mi novia, así que mi hija menor quiso inmortalizar el momento.
Going to visit my place of origin not only connects me with my memories, but also leads me to rediscover myself, see old friends, visit family, take a walk through the countryside or the square, it is an experience that for Some may find it simple, but for me it is wonderful. Ir a visitar mi lugar de origen no solo me conecta con mis recuerdos, sino que me conduce a reencontrarme conmigo mismo, ver a los viejos amigos, visitar a la familia, dar un paseo por el campo o la plaza, es una experiencia que para algunos puede resultar simple, pero para mi es maravillosa.
