Somos del Rancho [Torials Personal Opinion] ESP/ENG
Since our colleague @avdesing invited us a few days ago—not as part of an initiative, but as a suggestion—to talk about tutorial channels or videos that we find interesting or worth mentioning, today I'd like to talk about "Somos del Rancho" (We're from the Ranch). It's a YouTube channel focused on tutorials, but it's not like most channels I've seen, where meticulousness and perfectionism are the order of the day, sometimes setting expectations that are difficult to achieve for people from lower-middle-class backgrounds, for example. No, these women teach us with sincerity, using the ingredients or materials they have on hand. They encourage us to recycle and care for nature. They're organic, country girls who cook with what they gather from the fields or make utensils or crafts with household tools. Without pretense or artifice, they're two authentic women who share their knowledge with anyone who wants to listen and watch them.
En vista de que hace unos días nuestra compañera @avdesing nos invitó, no dentro de una iniciativa, sino como una sugerencia, a hablar sobre aquellos canales o videos de tutoriales que nos resulten interesantes o dignos de reseñar, hoy me gustaría hablarles de "Somos del Rancho" ya que es un canal de youtube enfocado a tutoriales, pero no es como la mayoría de canales que he visto, donde la prolijidad y el perfeccionismo están a la orden del día, a veces estableciendo expectativas difícilmente alcanzable para las personas de clase media baja, por ponerles un ejemplo, no, estas chicas nos enseñan desde la sinceridad, con los ingredientes o materiales que tienen al alcance de sus manos, nos invitan a reciclar y a cuidar la naturaleza, son orgánicas, chicas campesinas que cocinan con lo que recogen del campo o fabrican utensilios o manualidades con herramientas caseras, sin poses ni fachada, dos mujeres auténticas que comparten sus conocimientos con todo el que tenga ganas de escucharlas y verlas.
Uno de los videos tutoriales que más me gustó fue donde las hermanas hicieron unas chanclas, sandalias o chancletas (no sé que otro nombre tengan en otros pises) utilizando como base unas botas viejas, de esta manera les dieron una segunda vida útil a objetos de otra forma hubiesen terminado en la basura porque ya no servían. Pero además me gusta la jocosidad con la que las muchachas conducen todos sus videos, con su acento campesino tan bonito, y sus ocurrencias, todo esto hace que los videos sean mucho más orgánicos. Llama la atención la creatividad que tienen y como hacen que todo tome forma

This time they are making bowls using totumas, which are fruits with a very hard shell. With few materials they are in charge of embellishing them and giving them a new focus, turning them into beautiful decorations but also into useful elements for the kitchen.
En esta ocasión están haciendo cuencos usando totumas, que son unos frutos con unan coraza durísima, con pocos materiales ellas se encargan de embellecerlos y darles un nuevo enfoque, convirtiéndolos en bellos adornos pero a la vez también en elementos útiles para la cocina.
And speaking of cooking, they also have tutorials in this area, creating delicious recipes with locally sourced, organic ingredients. One of my favorite tutorials was when they made a passion fruit dessert (parchita is what we call it in my country, Venezuela). Instead of serving it in disposable containers that only contribute to waste, or perhaps in glass cups or other more sophisticated utensils, they served it in the passion fruit peels themselves, making the most of the fruit, recycling, and giving it a more original and tropical look. They always emphasize that life in the countryside is simple yet enjoyable, and that everyone can find a solution to every problem. Therefore, watching any of the videos on this channel is not only fun and heartwarming, but you also gain valuable life lessons. They are young women full of humility, patience, and love for what they do, without airs or selfishness, willing to share everything they know with their audience.
Y hablando de cocina, ellas también tienes tutoriales en este ámbito, creando recetas muy ricas con ingredientes propios del campo, todo muy orgánico. Uno de esos tutoriales que más me gustó fue cuando realizaron un postre de maracuyá (parchita le llaman en mi país, Venezuela) pero en lugar de servirlo en envases desechables que solo ayudan a generar basura, o quizá en copas de cristal u otros utensilios más sofisticados, ellas lo sirvieron en las propias cáscaras de las maracuyá, aprovechando la fruta al máximo, reciclando y dándole un aspecto más original y tropical. Ellas siempre resaltan que la vida en el campo es simple pero amena, que todo el mundo haya una solución para todos los problemas, por lo tanto ver cualquiera de los videos de este canal no solo es divertido y reconfortante, sino que además te quedas con grandes enseñanzas para la vida. Son jóvenes llenas de humildad, paciencia y amor por lo que hacen, sin poses ni egoísmo, dispuestas a compartir con su audiencia todo lo que saben.
The tutorials are very varied, so as they say, there's something for everyone: cooking tutorials, craft tutorials, DIY tutorials, farming tutorials, and even makeup and beauty tutorials in general. They also have what they call lifestyle content, and useful tips for country life and life in general, so if that catches your eye, you should definitely check them out. Los tutoriales son muy variados, así que como se dice, hay para todos los gustos: tutoriales de cocina, de manualidades, de bricolage, de agricultura y hasta de maquillaje y belleza en general. También tienen lo que llaman contenido lifestyle, y de consejos útiles para la vida en el campo y la vida en general, así que si les llama la atención debería ir a echarles un vistazo. I can assure you that I have loved this participation in the month of January, what a fabulous channel. Although I knew about it because you have brought it before, I never imagined that these girls also made crafts and useful crafts, such as flip flops, I would never have thought that from a pair of boots to create flip flops and then the plates. I watched the three videos are an interest and desire that you can not imagine.
They are also very entertaining and fun, with that simple country style but that reaches people. The best thing is the plate with the base and the decoration, beautiful! Then the presentation of what they cooked was very good. It is a channel of life there in the countryside and how nice that they develop it. Thank you for this review and for bringing these tutorials. I liked them a lot!

Sí, yo he aprendido un montón con este canal, mi esposa y yo siempre lo vemos porque nos gusta la forma de ser sencilla y familiar de estas chicas del campo, nos enseñan cosas útiles, yo tampoco imaginaba que se podía hacer chanclas con botas, de haberlo sabido eso no hubiese gastado tanto dinero comprando un par la semana pasada, jaja
Y las tazas y platos, eso también me sorprendió, la manera tan bonita en que los fabrican, todo en sincronía con el medio ambiente.
