Areh [Vocal Coah] Channel Review (ESP/ENG)
First of all, let me wish you a year full of success, both here in the community and in all your endeavors on Hive and beyond the blockchain, as well as in your personal lives. What I'm sharing with you today is a YouTube channel I've been watching for some time now because it truly contains a lot of interesting information to learn. It's Areh, a Spanish YouTuber who is an expert in music, especially singing. In fact, he's a singing teacher, or as they're called nowadays, a vocal coach. I like him primarily because he reacts to singers' performances. His reactions are genuine, and he also offers a lot of academic information on the subject: why the singer does what they do, where the possible flaws or errors lie, and how they can be corrected. Furthermore, if he finds any errors in vocal placement, musicality, or breath control (to give an example), he usually shows videos of the correct execution to illustrate it to the audience.
Ante todo permítanme desearles un año lleno de muchos éxitos tanto aquí en la comunidad como en todo su desempeño en Hive y fuera de la Blockchain, en su vida personal también. Lo que les traigo el día de hoy es un canal de youtube que he estado viendo desde hace ya algún tiempo porque de verdad que contiene mucha información interesante para aprender, se trata de Areh, un youtuber español que es un experto en música y en especial en canto, de hecho es profesor de canto, o como le llaman actualmente, vocal coah. Me gusta en primer lugar porque él acostumbra a reaccionar a presentaciones de cantantes, sus reacciones son auténticas y además ofrece mucha información académica al respecto: porqué el cantante hace lo que hace, dónde están las posibles fallas o errores y de qué manera se pueden corregir, además en caso de encontrar algún error en la colocación de la voz, en la música o dosificación de aire (por poner un ejemplo) él acostumbra a mostrar videos con una ejecución correcta para ilustrar a la audiencia.
But he doesn't just react to and analyze famous singers; he also analyzes people with good voices who have been recorded by others, or videos of those who want to share their talent with the world. Areh reacts with authenticity, his opinions are objective and obviously qualified because he is, in fact, a professional. Best of all, he encourages those who want to venture into the world of music, as long as they do so responsibly and take it completely seriously, to break the stigma that talent doesn't matter, only image and marketing.
Pero él no solo se limita a reaccionar y analizar a cantantes famosos, sino a personas que tienen buena voz y fueron grabados por otras personas, o videos de aquellos que desean compartir su talento con el mundo entero. Areh reacciona con autenticidad, sus opiniones son objetivas y obviamente cualificadas porque se trata precisamente de un profesional, y lo mejor de todo es que alienta a aquellos que quieren atreverse a incursionar en el mundo de la música, siempre y cuando lo hagan con responsabilidad y se lo tomen completamente en serio, para romper con el estigma de que el talento no importa sino la imagen y el márquetin.
Something I like about his personality is that he's very funny sometimes. He gives his honest opinion, but when something makes him laugh, he doesn't hesitate to express it, like that time he reacted to that pseudo-urban singer they call Bad Bunny. I truly feel sorry for those who do consider him a singer and like his "music," but honestly, in my own opinion, I can't consider that music, much less after watching it and analyzing it under the microscope of experts like the YouTuber who runs this channel. Because, precisely as a student of music, in his analyses he goes even beyond the obvious and shows us what we can't perceive at first glance: why there are so many flaws, why there are rehearsal errors, or whether the person in question even bothered to rehearse. In this particular video, he even explains why this man "sings" as if he were yawning, so this YouTuber's reactions and analysis become truly fascinating because you not only have fun and be entertained, but you also learn new things every day.
Algo que me gusta de su personalidad es que es muy gracioso algunas veces, da su opinión sincera pero cuando algo le da risa no duda en expresarlo, como esa ocasión en la cuál reaccionó al seudo cantante urbano este que llaman Bad Bunny, y de verdad lo lamento por aquellos que sí lo consideran un cantante y les guste su "música" pero honestamente, bajo mi propio criterio yo no puedo considerar a eso como música, y mucho menos luego de verlo y analizarlo bajo la lupa de expertos como el youtuber que gestiona este canal, ya que precisamente como estudioso de la música que es, en sus análisis él va incluso más allá de lo evidente y nos muestra lo que nosotros no podemos percibir a simple vista: porqué hay tantas fallas, porqué hay errores de fogueo o si incluso la persona en cuestión se preocupó o no por ensayar. En este video en particular incluso explica el porqué este hombre "canta" como si estuviese bostezando, así que las reacciones y análisis de este youtuber se vuelven realmente fascinantes porque no solo te diviertes y entretienes, sino que aprendes cosas nuevas todos los días.
While browsing his channel yesterday, I came across a very unusual video that I wasn't expecting. It's an analysis of the performances of two impersonators of Axel Rose and Juan Gabriel, respectively. The curious thing is that these impersonators didn't perform separately, but together in the same presentation. And although it might seem that the musical genres of these two artists have nothing to do with each other, it's surprising to see that they find a point where they blend perfectly. As I understand it, this happened on a Peruvian talent show, but as Areh says, it's astonishing how similar and almost perfect these impersonators' voices are, capable of sounding practically identical to those they were trying to imitate.
Revisando su canal ayer me conseguí con uno muy particular y que no me esperaba encontrar, se trata de un análisis a la actuación de un par de imitadores de Axel Roses y Juan Gabriel respectivamente, pero lo curioso es que estos imitadores no actuaron por separados, sino en conjunto en la misma presentación, y por más que pudiera parecer que los géneros musicales de ambos exponentes no tienen nada que ver entre sí, resulta sorprendente ver que encuentran un punto en el cuál se acoplan perfectamente. Según tengo entendido esto sucedió en un programa de talentos peruano, pero así como afirma Areh, es sorprendente lo parecidas y casi perfectas voces que tienen estos imitadores, capaces de sonar igual prácticamente igual a quienes pretendieron imitar.
