The Skill I Never Learned but Could Do Naturally
There are some of us who have some skills or things they can do so well, and yet when you ask them how they know how to do it, they won't be able to pinpoint it, because it actually comes naturally. I remember knowing a young boy in my community who was talented in electrical appliance repair and the like, and yet he had no background of learning it, making us wonder how he learned it. Just like that boy and some of us, I, for one, also have a skill I can do and yet didn't learn it from anyone, and in this article I'd tell you more about it.
You see, I'm the kind of person who loves to acquire new knowledge, skills, and the like, and that has led me into learning different things so I can acquire the knowledge and niche of the craft or skills. But despite learning all of those, there's this one skill that I didn't learn from anyone, and yet I can do it conveniently and even sometimes do it for people and get paid for my service, and it's kind of funny when I tell people I didn't learn it before I knew how to do it. I'm sure you'll be wondering what skill that is; well, it's none other than graphics design.
Through the years I just developed the love for designing, and that prompted me into downloading various applications that make it easy for me to learn, practice, and get better at this skill. Via various trials and errors, I've become better than I was when I started, and it led to people at some point paying me to design something for them, ranging from birthday cards to church flyers and the like. Although a lot of people use Canva and think that's all there is to designing, I think that's not it, because the Canva application always gives you a template to edit, although you can also decide to work on a blank page.
I myself sometimes use the Canva application, but then when I want to design something from scratch, I usually prefer using the PixelLab application, which grants one an open page to craft the masterpiece your heart holds, and it's been easier through the years, moving from one design to another as though I'm a professional or had learned it somewhere, even though I didn't before I started designing on my own.
So that's about it on the skills or crafts I can do. Despite the fact that I didn't learn them, I guess they were brooded out of curiosity, and that has developed to a level that is beyond novice or amateur. Even without a certificate to back up my knowledge, I'm reassured that there are things I can do that some learners in that field might not be able to, and that's because I've come to find graphic design easy to do. I might not be perfect or have an amazing design like the expert in the field, but I'm good in my own way.
