The Rhythm of life:why music matters

Hey guys welcome to my blog, this is my entry to the #novemberinleo initiative proposed by the #inleo community and my entry to day 18.

Without music the world would be a dark, melancholic and deserted world. Music is not only that which we listen to, but it belongs to our daily routine, of which we can't envisage a day without it. It's really a lot to do with sounds, in the sense that music gives us happiness, energy, and meaning to our lives. Imagine waking up in the morning and there’s no song to play to start your day. No happy music to sing while having breakfast or no soothing music to hear while winding down in the evening. It would feel as though something important was missing.

When we cook at high temperatures, music is pretty much what keeps us occupied when we have no one to talk to while in the kitchen. Think about when you’re in the kitchen, chopping vegetables or stirring a pot. Perhaps you just turned on your favorite song and cooking feels like a playful activity, rather than a drudgery.

And the music can be taken as an accompaniment for cooking, as the music is taken as an accompaniment for dancing and walking, which is the case. Without music, cooking would become quiet and dull. Staying otherwise motivated to continue to do the task would be much harder to do. That is, the kitchen will forgo that kind of feeling, which normally forms when a good song plays in the back ground.

Music is also clinically significant in respect to the development of learning, especially in an age group of children. To teach a child how to sing, one knows that music plays a role in learning. Music is an excellent tool for learning. It also has the effect of memorizing facts, such as the alphabet or numbers, through the use of a melody where the learning remains in place.

In schools, many teachers also employ music to catch the eye of their pupils, to aid in their concentration or lend a more fun aspect to the learning process. A child raised without music would be a black and white, dull place. It would be much harder for them to attend their classes and the classroom itself would possibly feel less "living.

Music connects people in a way nothing else can. It brings people together, whether they be friends, family or otherwise. Thinking of a concert, a party, or even a sing along by the fire. Those moments are made special because of the music. Without music in the world people are less able to connect with one another.

Conversationalizing wouldn't sound as spontaneous, and anything from a meeting to a date may appear less personable or even weirdly unpolished. Music can be used to change the atmosphere in the room, to provoke a feeling of happiness, sadness, excitation, or calmness. It would not be without it that there would be a soundtrack to our lives.

Music, however, can still be a ray of comfort even when the times are dark. For those who are down, there is always a song to lift you up. Music speaks to the heart. It also makes it possible to say things that are too vague to be expressed in words, even. For those who listen to music following a difficult day, it can be soothing and restorative. Life wouldn't be without that affective tie without music and even more alone.

A musicless world would be an emotionless world. Music fills our lives with meaning, joy, and emotion. It is useful in daily activities such as cooking, learning, bonding, and is a source of comfort in adversity. Without it, life would lose some of its magic. Arts are not only an art, it is inseparably shelved within us. We cannot live without it.

What a beautiful reflection on the power of music! You’ve captured how it brings joy, connection, and meaning to our lives in such a relatable way. Life really would feel empty without it.
