The human cost of organ trafficking

Selling of organ is illegal in every part of the world and this is because of how it has been abused. A lot of people traffic humans and then harvest their organs and sell them. For those who sell their organs such as kidneys, when we listen to their life story and reason why they want to do it, we see how complicated the matter is.

Sometimes people sell their organs willingly and get paid whole sometimes people are being kidnapped or trafficked and their organs are being harvested and sold on the black market. Sometimes wonder if the people trafficking and those harvesting the organs have a heart in their chest because I don't know how a human will kidnap their fellow human and harvest their organs without their knowledge, some even go as far as killing the people when they are done harvesting and some harvest all the organs and bury the body. This a heartless thing to do.

A lot of humans are struggling, some of them can't feed, some have sick children who need treatment, some have children who need to go school and there is no money for any of these. When such people are being approached and asked to sell one of their organs for a particular amount they won't think twice about it. They will be like it's their body and they do with it whatever they please, they will also think about their children and feeding and other things they are struggling with.

Honestly, they are not wrong for thinking like that, you will not blame them. It's our right to to decide what to do with our body, our health, as well as our future. So when a person decides to give away or sell their organs to save a life or help themselves, shouldn't it be their decision to make?

But I think why it is illegal is because it is easily abused by people. One thing about humans is that when they are given small opportunity, they always abuse or misuse it. Poor people can be tricked simply because they need money, they will be tricked into selling their organs and sometimes they won't get paid and when they are being paid, they won't be paid the complete amount they agreed on. Then the rich people will be buying organs from the poor like it's a business they are doing.

Selling of organs is definitely risky. There might be health problems or complications from surgery and also when the person falls sick, and need that particular organ, it won't be there. Human life is not something to be sold or bought, when people are desperate, they can do things they do not fully understand and most times end up regretting it.

Maybe we can improve our system instead of banning selling of organs. Government can make safe way for organs to be donated and people will be supported financially.

We should always remember that behind every organ, is a person with dreams and aspirations Whatever decision is made must protect their life and dignity, not destroy it.
