Technology role in shaping modern life

Technology has really helped and made life and living not just easier but also comfortable. If we should look back at how life uses to be then, we would say technology has helped in several ways, it has made life more easier and more comfortable.

For example, in the past although it's still been used now but it's not common, people use grinding stone to grind pepper and tomato. Using grinding stone is hard work and it consumes a lot of time, imagine you want to have a party now and you'll now use grinding stone to grind one big basin of tomatoes and pepper, but now that we have blender, you can grind more quantity and in less time.

Also transportation has been made easier, in the olden days people walked long distances, days, weeks just to get to their destination, those that could afford animals used them, but at that, transportation was not still easy. Now we have cars, planes, and trains and movements and transportation has never been easier, you get to where you're going faster and more comfortable.

Now let's talk about communication, then people used town criers to pass information to the whole community but it's not so now, we have mobile phones and internet. Imagine someone is based in the western part and information wants to get to the person, the carrier of the information had to walk or move very long distance just to deliver this information, but now we can just pick buttons and everything has gotten to where it needs to get.

Despite all these, technology has it bad sides. Such as people loosing their jobs because machines can do their work. But I still believe that technology, when used the right way, makes life easier. It helps us work faster, talk better, and live more comfortably.
