Surviving the week, living the weekend

My week is always busy, from waking up, to cooking, dressing myself and the kids for work and school, when I get to work, I try my best to put my class in order, kids are a handful. Weekends are the only time we get to rest so if I were to plan my perfect weekend, I'll use the time to rest, enjoy and feel happy.

I'll start my perfect weekend by bundling 😂 my kids to their grandma place, the stress they give me is on another level so I'll take them to her place on Friday after school. Then Friday night, I'll sleep and let my body relax, no noise, no calls because I'll either put my phone on silent or airplane mode. On Saturday morning, I'll wake up later like around 9am than the usual 7am when the kids are around. I'll eat then take a bath, I don't need to worry about anything because it'll just be me and myself 😌.

Later in the day, I'll go out with friends like we have planned. Just go to a restaurant, eat, drink, talk and laugh. We will definitely go to cinema afterwards to watch a movie, no pressure, no stress. Just us having fun.

On Sunday, I'll go to church to thank God for life and another week. Before going to church I would have prepared my best stew, the stew will be garnished with crayfish, dry fish, fried fish and goat meat, that's how I love my stew with enough pepper, so when going home, I'll buy a chilled bottle of malt that I'll use to eat my rice and stew.

By the end of my perfect weekend, I'll feeling relaxed, and refreshed then I'll go and get the kids from their grandma place. So by Monday morning, I'll be energized and know that I didn't just survive the weekend, I lived it.
