My Dream Business: loh 252

Hello everyone @ladiesofhive, hope we are all having a wonderful week? I'm really glad to be participating in this week's contest with amazing questions asked by @jane1289.

Having a business of your own gives you a lot of things, such as freedom and income. Having your own business means you get to do things the way you want, wake up when you want. This is something I would love to have a lot, the stress of waking up very early and preparing for work and later on your boss will look for something to complain about or begin to talk to you anyhow. Anyways, my boss doesn't rarely does this and she is a great woman, I'm happy working for her.

• The business I would like to start

Selling of dry fish, crayfish and foodstuffs. I have always taught of this since I moved to Ibadan, I have seen how people will want to use dry fish or crayfish to cook and they can't get it until they reach a far market. Not everyone have the time to go to market everytime they need to dry fish and not everyone likes going to far away market.

I also know that dry fish doesn’t spoil easily. So even if I don’t sell everything in one day, I can keep it and sell it the next day. That makes it a safe business to start with little loss. Apart from dry fish and crayfish, I would also sell foodstuffs like garri, rice, beans, and palm oil. When I sell all these in one spot, people can get what they need without moving from one place to another.

For my dry fish and crayfish, I intend on posting on social media to let more people know about it, place orders and their fish will be delivered to them at their homes without having to go to market. This will be a great business with profit because dry fish is a bit expensive here and most people, especially mothers love dry fish and crayfish because it gives food more flavor and taste.

I know starting this business won't be easy because I haven't gotten the capital to start. Also, I don't really know people who can sell these at cheaper price for me but I'm working on it.

I believe this business will help me earn money to take care of my family, and at the same time help others in my area get what they need easily. No one likes dirty things especially when it's something they will put into their body. So I will make sure my goods are clean, fresh, and sold with a kind heart.
