Adapting to life's surprises
Majority of us, if not all of us make plans. I know I always make plans, I plan for the day, the week and if for any reason things don't go as planned, I always adapt and move on.
Adaptability is one of the characteristics of we humans, we must be able to adapt to any situation we find ourselves in.

Last night, I already planned today, how it'll go for me, what I will eat, what I will do and so on. Without plans, I actually feel lost and confused, it's like going to market without having a list of the things you want to buy, confusion will just full your head.
All we can do is plan but sometimes life doesn't always follow our plans and that's okay because that is life. A lot of unexpected things happens at different times in our life and it might make our plans change, what matters is not giving up.
In life I have learnt to be flexible, to always adapt to anything I find myself in. When something doesn't go how I planned it, I'll first of all take a deep breath and look for way forward. Life is full of surprises and it's either good or bad, what matter is how we control how we react.
When we adapt, it doesn't mean we have failed. It just means we are strong enough not to give up. It means we are bigger than the challenges and we can face them head on. I always remind myself and my friends when we are having any conversation about plans made and didn't happen how it was expected not to give up, it'll eventually happen one time or another.
Life is not perfect and so are plans, so yes I make plans but I don't give up when things change. Instead, I keep moving and pushing.

OMG! I hadn't realized this. I think I do it so automatically now that I hadn't noticed I almost always have my days planned.
Yep, our actions can almost always turn things around, and make it work for us.
Uh, somehow this clicked. It's like I used to think that if some plan didn't go as I wanted then I was failing, but you are right. Well yeah the plan failed, but that doesn't mean that I'll fail in achieving the goal. I just need to find another way.
That's right, find another way and you'll achieve what you want.
