Angeline is definitely better than her father, as is often the case in homes like this, where the children are more mature and better people. It's a shame there are so many fathers like Adolphus; they only ruin childhoods and lives. I congratulate you on this story; it captivated me from beginning to end. A hug @justclickindiva 🤗.

Hello @vezo. Hope you've been having a wonderful week and look forward to the weekend. Thanks so much for stopping by. You are correct that the father is not an example of one who promotes a healthy family environment. What I find interesting about the story was that, if he was so unhappy, why not just make a clean break and get a divorce? As often is the case, not the one who wants to take responsibility, but wants the other party to do it so can raise his hands in pity instead of working on all relationships. Throughout adulthood, I've come in contact with numerous individuals such as him.
