Wild flowers in February

Winter is still here, but if we are in nature and look at the ground we will find that there are already wildflowers blooming and it is a real pleasure to watch them.

I was so happy when I came across a large area full of hundreds of snow-white snowdrops in the Bakarlaka region in Southeast Bulgaria.

They rose boldly among the green grasses and mosses and the strong February wind could not break them.

In addition to the beautiful snowdrops, I found large areas with orange crocuses, which started blooming in other parts of the country last month.

The white flowers of the raven onion (Ornithogalum) are already noticeable.

Among it, although less often, one can also find spring celandine or buttercup celandine, which, as its name suggests, has yellow flowers.
