"White River" Eco-trail

These days I had a very exciting journey around a very beautiful river located in the central part of the Stara Planina - the so-called Byala Reka, around which a picturesque eco-trail has been built.

The eco-trail is reached through the town of Kalofer, where the paths between the Panitsite area and the Kalofer Monastery separate.

One of the girlfriends we were with had been to this place years ago and warned us that the road was in very bad condition and with the low car we were in it would not be good to go down to the bottom.

Fortunately, the owners of the guesthouse where we were staying turned out to provide transportation to the start of the eco-trail, so we decided to go down in their jeep.

The trip in this retro machine was fun, as the driver drove quite fast and was not at all worried about the big holes in the road.

While we were riding, we enjoyed the views that the mountain revealed.

Shortly after the monastery, we stopped because that is where the hiking trail begins.

The length of the trail is about 2 km and the walk along it takes about 2 hours at a leisurely pace.

At first we walked along a very wide path and soon reached a wooden bridge that leads you to a large meadow with a large wooden gazebo, tables, and a fireplace.

Along the way we passed through beautiful sections enjoying the river's beauty forming all sorts of shapes.

In places the wooden bridges had steep climbs.

There were panoramic sections.

There are information boards along the entire eco-trail, with a photo of the flora and fauna on one side and a description on the other.

There were also many gazebos and places to relax.

We saw so many plants and the sounds of the birds filling the surroundings were magical.

The trail ends at the same place where it begins and it was a real pleasure to walk it.

The view is breathtaking. This is the kind of excursions and trips that I love. I am team mountain. I love everything green.

I liked the picture of the straw, I think it's straw, hahahaha. I'm not sure.
