Wednesday walk to Kara Dere beach

1.jpg

In today's Wednesday walk, I want to tell you how a girlfriend and I decided to visit a remote wild beach located on the northern Black Sea coast - Kara Dere beach.

To get to the beach, you have to go along a dirt road, which is quite uneven in places, so we decided to stop in the town of Byala and from there take a walk there.

And it's a good thing we did because the walk was very pleasant.

There are many vineyards and sunflower fields in the area, the views around which are stunning, especially when there is a view of the sea around them.

We found many wild flowers and thistles along the way.

People driving ATVs and buggies passed us by. Unfortunately, the passing vehicles raised a lot of dust, but the considerate drivers slowed down and thus reduced the dust.

I also go through forested areas, uphills, downhills - very varied terrain.

After another descent we reached the beach.

There were many tents and happy people there.

There were many tents and happy people there. Children were playing in the sand and digging deep holes. Fishermen had set up fishing rods. Water sports were practiced.

As we walked along the beach we came to a three-story wooden observation deck and climbed up it.

There was a table and seating on each floor.

We continued our walk along the beach because we wanted to reach the final destination - the large stone positioned on the sand.

The rock is located almost at the end of the beach and has a cross on it. It is a beautiful porous rock with interesting formations on it.

I climbed it with pleasure to take some photos from above.

We made a beach near it and swam in the sea.

On the way back we decided to walk back along the sand and exit where the beach ended. We walked to the other end, not forgetting to enter the sea once more and swim.

So our path along the dirt road was much shorter and it was also different.
